What can you say? The room looked decent enough at first. In our " suite" many electrical outlets didn't work. It was a kitchenette unit. The picture speaks for itself. At 5'9", I could hardly reach the cabinets. As for the beds, I've slept on softer surfaces camping with my Scout Troop. With every move you could feel the springs attempting to penetrate through to your back. On that note, it was a wonderful surprise to find an 8" long black hair in our bed when we pulled down the sheets (Ewwwwwwwe). The kicker was the bathroom door that won't shut because it's completely falling off the hinges (see picture). To be fair, the many coats of paint were trying to hold to screws in to the frame. I just don't think they could do it any longer. I'm sure management may be concerned about the conditions of our room. If only someone was available to answer the phone at the front desk. The may be busy painting another coat on a bathroom door. As I write this I can only wonder about the "free" breakfast that awaits me.. Do yourself a favor, walk pass this one. Unless you like the adventure it presents.

We stayed for multiple nights. The best thing about this place was the location. Other than that we had to go by shower shoes due to how dirty out room was. We wiped down the walls and surface areas with clorox wipes and the white sheets turned black. I seen a response from the owner and claims they bleach the units. We could not smell any bleach. Smelled like a pack of Marlboros. We were disgusted with both notes we found in our room. See pictures below. The staff here was friendly and replaced the XXX love letter with a clean one. How was this not caught while *CLEANING*? My niece seen this. This is not something any child should see or read on Vacation! We would've rather spend more money than to stay here unfortunately we booked in advance and the pricing for surrounding hotels were double. We will never stay here again. Not a place for FAMILY.

No breakfast but yet advertised on the online presence. Thanks for nothing. Previous people unplugged all the TV cable so staff was helpful with hooking it up. Shower water pressure is weak, I had to get on my knees because of how low the shower head is and I'm 5 9. Beds were sufficient and dual room temperature controls are nice. Only 1 large chair and no couch or table to eat at. Curtains don't block out the bright building lights in main rooms where 1 bed is, other room was dark. Stains on mattress sheets, gross!!! Ripped armrest plus had good and wrappers behind cushion on chair. Staff swapped broken microwave quickly. Probably won't stay here again but it's a place to rest near Marine Corps graduation.

“FILING LAWSUIT” BED BUGS BED BUGS On the beginning of April 2024 my wife our son and I booked a room at this travelodge.(DAY1) arriving at the motel we walked in the lobby check in and the guy there was very rude and unprofessional no greeting all negative energy we usually don’t let that fly but since we were tired we just wanted to lay down and get some rest. We aren’t from the area and at first we thought the rooms looked ok and so we did something we always do when we travel we inspected the beds all under & in between the edges along with the pillows and we didn’t see anything however we smelled a strong urine odor we weren’t sure if it was coming from the carpet or maybe next door until the next day after our sheets were supposedly changed we found large pee stains on the sheets of course we complained about that and we asked for room service to be told they are too busy and we can’t get room service which is ridiculous getting denied for room service, so we got some clean sheets at least , (DAY2) upon coming back to the room from a long day out I took off my clothes got settled in and about 40 min later I started getting very itchy on my foot, my ear and my head I thought we’ll maybe mosquitoes bit me outside I didn’t think to much of it just washed it off very well and applied some anti itch cream was super tired so I fell asleep on our last day in the early morning a BED BUG woke me up out of my sleep this time it bit me on my elbow and guess what this whole time it wasn’t mosquitoes it was a BED BUGS we immediately disinfected everything and did all the proper procedures etc , we didn’t wait til check out time we wanted to be out of there however when we explained this to the rude lady in the desk she denied her rooms being dirty and she blatantly said why did we stay there if it was her she wouldn’t of stayed !!!!!! She didn’t give us a receipt only for the deposit which is very shady , whoever is thinking of getting a room here don’t do it there’s other options where they have great customer service and they actually smile and greet you but most importantly where they don’t have bed bugs and...

It should be mentioned that I often go backpacking and camp in the dirt, so my standards might be a little bit lower than your average Joe.

POSITIVES: This motel was exactly what we needed: an inexpensive place to crash before catching our plane the next day. There was a perfectly functional and clean microwave and a pretty big fridge for a motel. The sheets and coverlet were clean, as was the room itself. It's clear that it has been upgraded a bit. The furniture isn't fancy but it's functional. The staff were very nice. AC unit was functioning fine. Coffee maker worked fine. Shower was clean and the water was hot. I don't watch TV so I can't speak about that. Wifi was perfectly fine for streaming.

NEGATIVES: It was definitely musty when we arrived which made my allergies go nuts. The microwave, ice bucket, etc were sitting on the desk so I wasn't able to sit at it to work. (They could probably go on the shelf under the TV)

The area is sketchy as was our neighbor. People seemed to wait until they were outside my door to start bellowing into their phones or hollering at each other. But that's not management's fault. That's the fault of a grown adult having no courtesy.

The morning we woke up was trash day and the thunder of dumpsters and trucks in the loading docks across the alley were really loud. And I mean REALLY. Not management's fault but it is a factor of you plan to sleep past seven.

All in all, I probably wouldn't want to bring little kids here and I wouldn't want to stay for more than a couple of days. Most of the issues I had were beyond the control of the management team but that doesn't mean they didn't exist. Great for a quick stay at a low price, 15 minutes from the airport.

It would be great if the damp, musty smell could be figured out. SanDiego is a humid place so there's bound to be a little of that but it was definitely problematic for me. A quick rearrangement of the stuff on the desk would...

Absolute WORST experience I have ever had with any establishment. Made reservations for my nieces graduation from the Marines for Oct 30-Nov 2 2024. Nothing was to be charged until check in per the company website and reservation confirmation. While flying from Missouri to San Diego, at our first layover I received an email stating my reservation had been canceled. I immediately called and was told they tried to charge my card, "just to make sure I was still coming" as was their policy on busy weekends, and my card declined because they had the incorrect info So I asked do you have any rooms still available, I was told no. First phone call ended. I went online, was able to make another reservation with the same credit card and tried calling back to make sure the hotel had the reservation and everything was good to go. No answer, at a business at 4pm . No answer for 30 minutes. I asked my husband to call from his number, finally an answer! My husband explained what was going on and that we had a new reservation, much to the clerks disbelief. My husband then asked why the card was charged before check in and if this was going to happen again, at which time he was hung up on. We then tried calling from both of our phones for almost an hour, with no answer EVER...in the meantime I made another reservation at a different establishment. The next morning we discovered they had done the exact same thing to my brother and canceled his reservation. His flights had been delayed and when he didn't check in they charged him for the first night and canceled the rest. Then offered him another room for twice the price. I plan to reach out to Wyndham directly, but traveler's beware. This place is shady and will take your money, cancel your reservation and then not answer your calls. GO ANY...
