United States University — Attraction in San Diego

I've been a at USU for a year now working on my Masters in Nursing and my FNP, and I really love the whole experience ( well, except the lack of sleep from working full-time and staying up late to do homework!). There is no slacking! These professors are on top of it! The curriculum is challenging, and every class is laid out in such an organized structured way so you know what to expect. I received my Bachelors in Nursing from Clemson University and I have to say, I much prefer the close friendships, and friendly caring teachers at USU. Even though we are from all over the United States, I feel more connected than I ever did sitting in a classroom once a week and missing work. This program is definitely doable while working full time. Did I mention challenging? But the professors are truly the VERY BEST!! The system is user friendly, and I encourage anyone sitting on the fence, to get off and get your degree! We have a major nursing shortage which is projected to worsen over the next few years,...

I've just finished the Post Master's Certificate FNP Program in Dec 2022. It was extremely hard to find clinical rotations. I felt that I might not make it to the next term every term, and not because of academic difficulties. The program is new and requires constant administrative vigilance on the part of the student to continue forward. Unnecessary stress added. I found the online format lacking rigor (compared to my traditional in-person MSN from CSUF) and I did not get to know a single classmate or professor. The program is essentially self taught with professor guidance. I received a CA FNP license today, and will schedule board certification next. Overall I would not recommend...
