My husband and I stayed at the Harborview Inn in Seward in late July. We waited too long to book our accommodations but luckily Harborview Inn had availability.||First, the good… The hotel room rates were more reasonable than others. It offers free parking and the location can’t be beat. Mary, the hotel manager, is fantastic and very personable. The rooms are clean and housekeeping did a great job each day.||Now the bad… The bed was horrible! We were booked for a Queen bed but what we really slept on was a double. The springs in the bed were worn out so it was uncomfortable. The small pillows were just as horrible as the mattress. It did get hot during the night, and the size of the room is definitely on the smaller side. It also didn't have a refrigerator or microwave in the room so we ended up throwing left overs out. The beds were comfortable and the blinds kept the light out at night! We were only in our room to sleep and shower so I would recommend if you aren't going to be in the room the majority...
