To call the Resurrect Art Coffee House a mere coffee shop is to blaspheme against the very concept of spiritual transcendence! This establishment in Seward is not just a place to procure your daily dose of caffeine—it is a sanctified temple, a cathedral where the weary soul finds not just reprieve but salvation itself. Enshrined within the venerable walls of a former Lutheran sanctuary—walls that have witnessed both the fervor of devotion and the despair of human frailty—the Resurrect Art Coffee House offers a path to redemption through the sacred rites of pastry and beverage. The pastries are no mere earthly indulgences; they are divine sacraments, offerings to the gods of taste and texture, crafted with an almost heretical devotion to perfection. The cinnamon roll, in particular, is a relic of salvation—a spiral of sugary redemption, its layers a journey through the labyrinth of sin to the pure, sweet center of divine grace. The liberal anointment of creamed frosting is no ordinary topping; it is an absolution, a baptism in sweetness that washes away the bitterness of existence and delivers the devout to a state of gustatory grace. But beware, for to neglect this sacrament is to risk the eternal damnation of the soul! To pass by this cinnamon roll without partaking is to condemn oneself to a life of flavorless purgatory, a descent into the depths of culinary despair. And then, there is the London Fog—a tea latte of such celestial composition that it offers not just refreshment, but a communion with the divine. The lavender infusion is not simply an addition; it is the breath of the Holy Spirit, lifting the fog from both the day and the soul, guiding the lost toward the light of existential clarity. To partake of this elixir is to find salvation from the spiritual malaise that plagues modern existence. To bestow upon this experience a mere five stars is to commit a grave injustice, a sin against the very sanctity of this sacred space. The Resurrect Art Coffee House is not just a stop along the way; it is a pilgrimage site, a holy ground where the devout can find both salvation and enlightenment. I shall return not merely as a patron, but as a pilgrim, seeking redemption and the divine grace that only this exalted sanctuary can provide.

During my recent visit to this breakfast spot in Seward, Alaska, I was absolutely blown away by the stunning views and unique atmosphere of that place. The coffee was simply amazing and the cute souvenir shop was a nice touch. However, I was a bit disappointed with the limited healthy and natural breakfast options available on the menu. Despite this minor setback, I still highly recommend this breakfast spot to anyone looking for a picturesque setting to enjoy a cup of coffee and take in the beautiful scenery. The ambiance is truly one-of-a-kind and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. However, if you're someone who's looking for a healthier breakfast option, you may want to consider other options in the area. But there is not much 🤭 Overall, it is a wonderful place to start your day and soak up the stunning Alaskan scenery.

A wonderful, eclectic fun cafe with tasty treats and delicious drinks. We stopped in early morning as we were camping nearby. It been a couple years since I been here. Glad to see not much has changed. The kids and I got a hot chocolate, the gingerbread with cinnamon latte, apple crumble scone and a jalapeño bacon bagel and bomb and a breakfast focaccia. All delicious. Came about to about $30 before tips. The line wasn’t long as we came in before 8:00 AM but it got crowded after we were there for 30 minutes. We found seats easily as there wasn’t many customers when we arrived. Plenty of local unique items to purchase as well. There is also sitting outside in the front. There is a wheelchair ramp to the entrance. Would recommend and will come back when in area.

My husband got a coffee with coconut syrup. The barista suggested adding heavy whipped cream and he loved it. I got the vegetable quiche and it was good, but unfortunately it was also cold. I would still go back and try some of their pastries. I LOVE the atmosphere, history, and overall vibe. They have unique local art and gifts. There was an upstairs reading area that I would love to check out next time and a cozy and quaint outdoor seating area in the front with a gorgeous mountain view. P.S. we went on a Tuesday morning and it was PACKED so don't go in a hurry. Be prepared to wait, but it's worth it. Tip: there was a huge line inside, but my husband found the outside window where you can order and we were served much quicker than if we had waited inside.

Beautiful, cozy coffee shop in a rehabilitated church building featuring loads of artwork and plenty of seating options plus free WiFi. I had the mocha which was just okay. Tasted more like chocolate milk than coffee. Next day I got the cold Brew which was much better. It came out of a box but really I don't care as long as it is good. I've seen that same box at Safeway and it's an Alaskan roaster. Strangely the only history information I found was in the only restroom they have (there was a line when I went to use it). I suggest you enjoy a leisurely bathroom break to read it (and might I suggest to the owners that they put that info on the outside of the door so you can read it while you're waiting)

Wow. I love this coffee shop. Went for breakfast on a Wednesday morning. Got a Chai latte w/oatmilk & a strawberry rose scone and a breakfast rococci(I think I spelled that right?) SO delicious! The girls working here did an amazing job decorating and filling the space with art from local artists. The atmosphere is very calming, welcoming, and authentic. Ordering was a smooth process and it's freshly made along with the food. My breakfast was filling, sweet, and satisfying. They were freshly making and stocking it throughout the morning. But stocking food with just the right amount - not too much not too little. Seriously I can't recommend this place enough!!
