Exit Glacier Shuttle — Local services in Seward

I did not feel we were treated well.

On drop off, it was announced we can take an earlier bus return, if there's room, check in 10 mins before departure. The bus leaves every hour. We finished our trail 40 minutes early, checked in when the bus arrived, was told there's room, and we sat on the bus.

At 4pm, driver said we're waiting for 5 people, who are about 5 mins behind. At 415, they arrived, as well as a another group with their guide. The driver announced she now has more people than room in the bus. One of the new comers starts to get off the bus, she stops him and states, no not you, it should be William (My husband's name), party of 2.

We got off the bus, and heared another one of the newcomers state: "Did they really kick people off the bus to let us in?" Yes they did.

The trail was spectacular, but this experience is also one...

Everything was supposed to be great, until the time when the shuttle was supposed to pick us up at 5pm.

We arrived ten to fifteen minutes earlier but the bus was nowhere to be seen. Found another lady who was also waiting for the same bus, and we waited till 5.10pm.

There was no communication services at exit Glacier. We checked with the Visitor Center and they could not help either, but reluctantly assisted with their emergency walkie talkies. We were then lucky to be able to hitchhike down the mountains with departing visitors.

Confronted the counter staff of exit Glacier shuttle and managed to get a full refund, which is pleasing. But the part about the last bus not arriving on time and with no forms of communications available left a sour note in...

I do believe it was Megan that I spoke with on the phone. And there was another young lady whose name started with an m that I cannot remember who drove the van. I just want to say thank you ladies so much. The guide on the bus was so friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions with a smile on her face. I hope she has fun back at school in New Hampshire and I hope she comes back next summer. Megan in the office was so friendly and was more than happy to set up a same Day tour for my husband and I. You cannot find a better group of people to take you to exit glacier. Thank you guys and I will be back...
