I came to the Adventure Station as my very last stop in a 12-day Alaska camping trip. This place is so new you can still smell that new-carpet smell. Everything--and I mean everything--was very very clean. Even the deep corners of the bathrooms. The decor is modern and somewhat minimalist, but the bed--the BED is heaven, ESPECIALLY after you've spent the last 12 nights camping somewhat underdressed and freezing throughout the rest of Alaska. So many fluffy pillows! So nice and warm! I didn't want to leave, and that's saying something, given how much the Seward area offers. The Adventure Station has lots of thoughtful touches in the rooms. The bathrooms are shared, so you won't have an ensuite toilet or shower, but they aren't far from your room at all. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. There IS a sink in your room, though, so you can brush your teeth or fill up a water bottle in peace. There are handy hooks on the walls for your stuff, lots of nice fluffy towels, and even a Dyson fan/heater to regulate the in-room temperature. Each room came with lots of wall plugs, some with USB inputs. So for a camper like me with lots of gadgets to charge, this was extremely handy. I was able to charge up my power banks, lights, and camera batteries. The Station is on 4th Ave., just up the street from the historic downtown section of Seward. You can park your car (if you have one) on the free on-street parking there, go to the SeaLife center, drink up at the Seward Brewing Company, and then stagger back to sleep it off in ultimate comfort. The next morning, they provide coffee. The Station also comes staffed with wonderful people like Kate, who was friendly and inspiring. I was unable to take advantage of some of the tours offered on the board, but I believe the adventurer could find like-minded people here. Anyway! Highly...

Great location, walking distance to everything in town, easy parking, and close to a stop for the free shuttle. Staff was very friendly and attentive. They were knowledgeable about Seward and surrounding areas, offering tips and advice for activities, resources, and happenings in town. ||The bed was comfortable, blanket laying was on point, and room temperature was easy to control. I'm typically cold and after a day on the water this was much appreciated. Given the long daylight hours in summer I appreciated that care and thought was put into the window coverings. Many guided activities in Seward start very early, before cafes are open, the in room coffee maker and fresh ground coffee was so helpful in starting our day off right. ||Some might think the price is a little steep but, I did my research and found that it's pretty similar in cost to other hotels in Seward and this one is probably one of the nicer ones. Also don't forget this is a tourist destination in Alaska during peak season, everything is going to be run at a premium price. ||I recommend the Adventure Lodge and would definitely...
Read moreI’m so glad that my husband and I ended up at this hotel. It reminds me of a cute, modern boutique hotel, with a layout that makes it easy to meet new people. The rooms are super modern and clean. We stayed in a room with an en suite bathroom and the bathroom was AMAZING. Awesome water pressure and heat. Everything feels high-end and extremely clean. I travel all over the place and inspect hotels for a living (I’m a hotel consultant), so I’m pretty picky!
We are walking distance from everything in Downtown Seward at this hotel and that has been a huge perk as well.
Parking is super easy and free. My husband and I have been able to park right in front of the hotel every night so far.
There is a mini fridge in the main living area that everyone is welcome to store food in, as well as a microwave. Complimentary coffee is served in the morning.
Scott, the owner, is incredibly kind and ready to give you suggestions on places to eat and activities to do. He also leads some of his own tours, so be sure to ask him...
