Trappeur's Lodge at Trappeur's Crossing Resort — Hotel in Steamboat Springs

The place was really great better than I expected. What's really great about it is the free shuttle service the drop you off and pick you up in town I never had to wait more than six minutes great for kids. The time was similar to Breckenridge with plenty of restaurants and good food. Hot tubs were great they have free gaa BBQs, front desk staff was very good. Free towels by the pool if they even see you by the hot tubs outside they stop bringing it out towels. It was just so convenient. The rooms were great head gas fireplace. Mondays and Fridays happy hour. Mountain was very good snowed 56 in in 3 days this is January 18th 2019 kind of disappointed that they only gave me 5 days on my icon base pass. Was going to come back out in March with a family of four but now we have to head to one of the other mountains on the pass. Overall great experience try the strawberry hot springs...

Trappeurs is a great place to stay if you are visiting Steamboat. I have only been here in the winter but it's close to the base of the ski are and there is a free shuttle running continusly during operating hours and also an on-call shuttle that takes you around town to restaurants etc. up to 10:30 pm. I have friends who are owners and have rented several units that have all been very nice. Great pool...
