We were super disapointed to learn that Steamboat Springs city council voted 7-0 to cancel Triple Crown World Series this year. Leaving over 700 families to cancel their reservations with Vacasa . Most of these families were given future credit or a partial refund. These Families had no choice but to cancel because of Steamboat Springs City Council and their Covid 19 vote of 7-0 to stop this year's Triple Crown World Series Tournament. The majority of these families lost an average of $300 if not more each multiply that by 700 and that is what Vacasa made off of these families. Vacasa pocketed $210,000 dollars in "management fees" for what.? None of these families came so no cleaning deposits were needed. No pets came so no pet deposits were needed . No hot tubs were used so hot tub deposits were needed. Covid 19 happened and Vacasa still charged fees and collected them. It was a city council's vote to force these families to cancel. If the vote was 0-7 to allow these families to attend the Triple Crown World Series we all would be coming and happy to pay.

Vacasa you should be reported to the BBB. All of the families who were effected by this should report Vacasa to the BBB.

We stayed at Summerhouse in Mexico Beach. Everything was great. Clean, convenient location, easy beach access. The only problem we had was the condo lock would not work right. I called the number left for me to call if I had any problems. The first person I talked to told me I needed to talk to the people at the desk at Summerhouse. She insisted there was an office. So with an injured back I searched all floors and never found an office. I called the number back and got a different person. I believe her name was Joanne. She was very nice and helpful and informed me that I never should have been told there was an office, because Summerhouse does not have one. She sent up a maintenance order. It was fixed, but we still had an issue. The condo would lock initially, but when we would come back after being gone, the door would be unlocked. This left us feeling worried about our things while we were out. This problem should be addressed and the people answering the calls for vacasa should be better informed. La casa 11 was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids. To start, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Check in was a breeze. Additionally, we had a late flight home and were able to store our bags at the lodge until our shuttle to the airport picked us up. The unit was very clean and well equipped. As skiers, we were very happy it was only a 2 minute walk to the slopes, and then a very short run down to access the gondola. The unit was very close to the hot tube and towels were provided.
