Manolos Tamales #4 — Restaurant in Lake Township

Super disappointed in the customer service. I placed my door dash pick up order at 8:30 am thinking I would just have to go in and pick up my Tamales and that it would atleast reserve my order even if they are busy, but as I am arriving to pick up my order It gives me a notification that my order has been canceled. The lady at the cash register stated that the kitchen doesn’t open until 10. Keep in mind it says open 24 hours, so that must be false. When I arrived I asked the cashier why my order has been canceled and she said because they ran out of tamales, which is kind of shocking because it is a restaurant known for selling mostly tamales. She wasn’t the nicest or apologetic at all it was more like oh well your order was canceled you’ll get the refund when you get it. Honestly I have gone there a handful of times and never experienced the customer service I did today, they have lost a customer I will not be going back. I have been coming here for a while now and the food is pretty good. But they scams people when you use your credit card, the other day I went to buy some food and a drink for my wife the lady told me that it was $35.68 then asked me if I was paying cash or credit card I said credit card then she said that it was $36.45 I said ok. I paid the bill then she told me that she forgot to charge me for the drink I told her that if she was going to charge me again for using my credit card again, she say yes I told her I wonder how many people you guys scam like this she looked at me and smiled if it's wasn't that my wife had a craving for tamales I would have left everything there. Arrived at noon for lunch with the lady. They told us they had no chicken tamales and only had beans and rajas.Smh it says Tamales on their name so im a little confused. Ok maybe they ran out just before i got there ok. So i figured wed try something else off their menu i ordered a gordita of asada and wanted tacos de lengua. The lady told us that tbey only had two meat options of chicken and pork. Smh really, there menu is massive and only have two meat options. Its not like they were busy as we were only patrons. I gave them a second chance because a few days ago they had a sign posted on the window saying they closed early. If you cant keep whats on your menu available, remove it or dont even open your doors....
