First time visiting after a food recommendation of a local friend. They have pre-prepared buffet style Latin food. DELICIOUS! But what they have the best is their people. I accidentally parked in one of the two parking lots available. The one where all the delivery trucks and vans are. I thought I might had it wrong since the customer parking was closest to the entrance, but it was fine and I got in to eat. While I was selecting my amazing huge and delicious ribs with âlonganiza locrioâ, they called my name through the speakers. I didnât pay attention to it since it was my first time there, might have been someone with a similar name. When I was at the register I told the very nice lady there if I could pay with Apple Pay since I must have forgotten my wallet in the car. And of course they have the service. I decided to wash my hands before eating in one of the nice tables they have available inside and outside the supermarket and I was directed to customer service to get the key for the very clean restrooms. As a joke, I told another nice lady there if thereâs someone named like me that they were calling on the speakers and she immediately got the manager saying âwe found himâ. I still thought this was some mistake. The manager cordially asked me for an ID and I happen to have a copy of my drivers license in my phone pictures album. Guess what? Someone found my wallet next to my car at the parking lot. All my cards and the physical drivers license there. It made me Look at my day in a different perspective. How proud I am of my Hispanic community. This place will see me more often. I thank them for their honesty and diligence. Plus, everyone inside this amazing market had a smile to give and that is precious. Thank you. God bless you and may your business strive...
Read moreI WILL NOT come back here! Do these people have rocks in their heads? The cashier charged me 12.99$ extra for a 5 Gal Poland spring bottle I didnât even get! It didnât exist!! I paid but thought the total looked a little high so I glanced at the receipt. The cashier proceeded to stare at the receipt for a solid minute as if I was trying to pull one over him. Then he asked me if I spoke Spanish and shook his head when I said no, as if that was a problem and more of a reason as to why he couldnât figure out my change. I tried to offer help like simply use a calculator to give me the right amount of change back or give me back the money I gave him, removing the product from the screen and starting over, but he insisted totally ignoring me. After about 10 minutes of him âtryingâ to figure out this simple situation and totally ignoring anything I said to him I demanded he give my money back. I left with nothing feeling degraded and like if Iâd left the store and returned they wouldnât have returned or acknowledged the extra charge. Terrible customer service I have never experienced that type of incompetence. Not worth it better off going to 7-11 if you really need something in the off...
Read moreI Went to this place after calling ahead of time to buy FROZEN pasteles en hoja, I have to say I felt a little bit profiled, maybe because on a rainy day I was dressed all black, rain jacket my choice. They don't do this at Walmart or whole foods for example, I felt the same guy passing by me twice while giving me the looks all this while I was making the line to pay for the pasteles at the kitchen , after paying for the pasteles first then picked them up at their staffed walk-in in fridge where I showed the receipt and they handed me the pasteles I was stopped at the front by the same guy and his manager/supervisor where they were asking me to pay for the pasteles I told them I already pay for the at the back/kitchen, 3 stars for the pasteles being ok, 0 stars for the treatment and being charged $2.75 each pastel on the receipt as (hot food) but they were frozen, mind me I really wanted them frozen but also be charge as frozen food...
