We went in to Staples to return an ink cartridge that was the incorrect cartridge when delivered to our house, and waited in line for a while, but that was not a big deal as we expected that to happen with everything going on in the world, but the problems occured when we got to the counter for the return. During processing of the return they stated that their system was down and they couldn't process the return fully, so they could make an exchange, but they did not have the correct ink in the store. The issue is that we already ordered the correct ink online again, because that's what we were told to do when we called about the wrong ink being delivered. At that time my wife noticed they had hand sanitizer and we have been looking for some, because I hire nurses to work in nursing homes and hospitals in the Columbus area and have been wanting to give it out to my nurses. So my wife asked if we could just exchange the ink amount for the same amount of sanatizer, in which they replied with I guess. If there is a problem with it, that is fine, but don't act like we are forcing you to do something. I honestly did not care either way. Anyway the next employee who walked up to help with the transaction did not have a mask on, so my wife asked that he put a mask on as they required all of us to be in masks. Then the manager was called over, because the little old lady helping us couldn't get it to work. So they said we can't sell you the sanatizer, because our system is down, but they hand wrote a receipt for the return on the ink. We said ok no big deal and we left, but then in the car we look at the bank statement and we were charged for the sanitizer and the ink, so we went back in and the manager who this time was very rude stated that we would have to dispute the charge with our bank. The employees there are always a little rude, but this time they seemed almost aggresive. I get that it's hot in the masks and the heats makes people angry, but it was just a very weird turn of events that I'm not able to articulate in my story. So in turn we had to leave the store with a hand written note that said our refund would be there within 10 days for the ink cartridge, no sanitizer that we purchased and no attempt at a refund for the sanitizer that we purchased. Is this the way staples wants to...
Read moreI have never been treated so badly as I had by this old bitter heaux named Carrie. Angry because she had to work. I came to the store to return an Amazon purchase. I waited in line patiently with one customer in front of me. She had the nerve to take the customer behind me before me. The customer told Carried that I was there first and she waved her hand and said come on sheâs just an Amazon return as if my time wasnât as valuable. Then she slung my receipt at me as if she was disgusted that she had to do my return. Like it wasnât part of her job. This was my first and last time in this store. If Carrie is the company representative that you let handle your customers experience then you should be out of very business soon. Get it together Staples I work too hard for my money to spend it on horrible treatment...

The one I attempted to use had trouble, I asked a rep to help he walked to printer saus, oh yeah its broken, turns off printer and walks away. I'm standing there thinking he was going to restart and nothing, the 2 printers in use had customers that were struggling and not one rep which btw there were 4 in total did not help just socialized at the registers, no customers at the registers, while the guy who walked away from me was busy with returns and drop offs. I waited 25 mins and nothing, I LEFT WITH THE SAME 2 CUSTOMERS STRUGGLING WITH PRONTERS! Also, the carpet and printers were filthy. looks like neither has been vacuumed or wiped down in months!
