I booked online , hotel is on a cul de sac with nothing but nice hotels so I figured it wouldn’t be that bad and it was only $60 . Well you get what you pay for because I have stayed in $35 hotels that were cleaner and better maintained. First impression was the main entrance which is all glass doors clearly hadn’t been cleaned since at least last year . The lobby was pretty clean and seemed normal . I get my keys and return to my truck to gather our things and sort of notice that all the windows were filthy , except one . We take elevator up to our floor and walk a corridor of outside hallways that seems rather unkempt. I unlocked our door and walk over to the bed to set me bag down and have the sensation of tape stuck to the bottom of my shoe that is actually just the carpet is sticky . I look around and the carpet is so old and worn that it’s lifting from the floor and has waves in it and also notice quite a few things that a vacuum wouldn’t miss still on the floor .
The bathroom was disgusting, the tub had some weird adhesive sheets or something stuck to the bottom of it that is either to control slipping or cover the worn out bottom of the tub but looked filthy, especially along the edges of it where mold was growing.. The toilet seat had scratches and stains on it and the floor clearly hadn’t been mopped in a while and seemed almost mold like where there is caulk at the base of the tub . Attempts to sort of update the room was done by some amateur painter who clearly didn’t use tape or have the proper equipment because there is paint overlapping the trim , some areas he couldn’t get a brush in not pained at all . Toilet paper dispenser and a clothes hook were some cheap thin budget fixtures. They did have in room coffee and a single cup coffee maker . Needless to say I inspected it before simply using it and noticed the water reservoir was filthy with I will assume mold. ? So needless to say my money didn’t buy us a shower or coffee in the room because I wasn’t using either ! The room also must have had a smoker in it and smelled of wet cigarette . My girlfriend decided to open the curtains but kept them closed after what looked like oily hand and face prints all over it and we are hoping what appeared to be lick marks were maybe someone’s dogs but gross either way .. our bed seemed clean but did have cigarette burns in one of the covers but the bed was actually comfortable.. I woke up at 6 am to the sound of the floor above me creaking loudly from the people upstairs of us and directly above our bed like someone noticed what they were doing made the floor make a loud squeak and constantly did it for an hour while someone was walking loudly . I also have an itch on a wrist and ankle that I didn’t have before bed that I’m sure hoping are not from bed bugs ... Needless to say there was no way we were touching that free continental breakfast after Everything we seen either . Very disappointed that we had to pay anything for a dirty disgusting room like this and will gladly pay the extra to stay across the street next time I’m...
Read moreImmediately after checking into my room, I discovered an unvacuumed floor, no kleenex or iron, and one of the lights wasn't working. Despite all of that, I wasn't going to say anything-- that is until I opened the coffee maker to find a dried and dirty coffee filter bag still in it! That's when I went back to the front desk and asked for the manager to call me the next day. Apparently, Ben was only available for an hour on each of his working days (10-11am), so it wasn't until a week later until we finally spoke, and no discounts or anything were given even though I told him I was going to be there for about 5 weeks. Because I was too busy with work, I had no choice but to stay. Also, I let the front desk know that I only needed housekeeping once a week on Wednesdays, yet they failed to clean my room on the upcoming Wednesday. Housekeeping became louder the longer I stayed, and one employee in particular was extremely rude-- Prazi. During my final week staying there, I noticed I had paid for an extra day. Also, since I was planning on leaving at 3pm (3 hours after checkout), I asked Prazi if I could have a late checkout instead of paying for an entire day. That's when Prazi began rolling her eyes and shaking her head. I then asked to speak with the manager, in which she replied "I'm the manager". I knew that wasn't the case because I had spoken with Ben prior, so I called her out on it and she said "Oh, you mean the general manager". She called Ben and handed me the phone-- the whole time I was talking to him, she was condescendingly laughing, shaking her head, and glaring at me.
So I don't recommend anyone to stay here unless it's all you can afford. They give a great discount on weekly stays (~$345 which includes tax), but you'd be better off paying a little more for a nearby hotel. The other guests were downright trash along with the employees. I could smell marijuana in my room and along the hallways, there were regular loud arguments (I even had to step in on one occasion to stop a man rag dolling his girlfriend or wife), and two people literally laid on the floor right outside of my door for an hour because they were drunk. No joke. Once every few minutes, one of them would attempt to stand up, then lay back down. Needless to say, I didn't get very much sleep while...
Read moreDo not bring your family here. The only reason i went here was because the hotel i wanted was sold out of king rooms. They have BED BUGS and dont care. They expect you to catch then and bring one to them to prove theyre there, my pics and videos werent good enough and i had to move in the middle of the night. Since im staying at hotel until i get a new place they told me that they would only pay to wash one load of laundry because im not supposed to bring a lot of clothes in the hotel? Like seriously? They ended up not paying for anything and didnt pay for the night NOTHING. Basically told me they didnt believe me because they didnt see one. I had actually caught 4 under cups bit theyre so small they escaped. I had pictures and video but theyre so small and fast it was very difficult to get a good picture. And bed bugs usually only start wondering when someone is in the bed because they go towards the heat. I asked if i could go in and bring one out by putting a heating pad on the bed to prove it and he wouldnt let me back in. They also had us move all our stuff at 2 in the morning to another room without washinh it so they had no education on the precautions to take in that situation. Nothing was supposed to get moved without washing everything first but they just dont care. Not ti mention the first room they tried to move me to was junk then the second one had busted drawers but i was so tired i didnt care. This hotel has gone so down hill since it was the Fairfield. The people at the desk didnt understand english well so i had a very hard time communicating with both of them about the situation. Again, they wouldnt let me go back in the room to prove they had bed bugs, most likely didnt want me to bring it to them because they're so cheap they didnt want to have to compensate. I think its ridiculous they expect you to capture the bed bug and bring it to them. I had to sit up until 2 in the morning for my boyfriend to get back from work to switch rooms and i couldnt even sit on the bed. This isn't something you take lightly, bed bugs are life ruining and there is no doubt in my mind theyre still renting those rooms with reported bed bugs. Pictures of the bites...
