Richie Cheesesteak — Restaurant in Florida

On Wednesday 1/26 I ordered 1 cheesesteak and 2 small fries over the phone from Richie Cheesesteak in Spring Hill Florida for pickup. When I arrived I went to pay for my order and was told it was already paid for over the phone. When I looked at the receipt it wasn’t what I had Ordered and had a first name same as mine but different last name. I informed them this wasn’t my order but someone else’s. When they searched again they were able to find my order with my name. I was told my order wasn’t done yet and needed to wait.

About 15 minutes later I was handed my order with my receipt taped to the outside of the bag and off I went back home. When I got home I seen my order taped to the outside of the bag but when I pulled the sub out it had the first order that wasn’t mine taped to the subs.

I called and told them what happened and was coming back to return them and to have my order ready. When I arrived I returned the incorrect order and was handed mine.

I asked the manger because what had happed was there anyway I could get the meal comped for me this time. I was meet with clear no because they don’t comp people that are going to eat their meal. I again informed them it was for the mistake they made and what I had to go through is why I asked. I was still told no and the owner wasn’t working today to speak to but she would call him (he was her dad) if I want to speak to him. I said yes I do so she did called him and I spoke to the owner. It was a professional conversation and I informed him what happened and he said he would look into it the next day and call me back. I gave him my number and so far 18 days later I haven’t heard back from the owner.

Can't say enough good things about these people my wallet was pushed out of my pocket when I put napkins in it the wallet had fallen out in the parking lot without even a dollar taken out was returned to me on my way to Carlsbad California it would have ended the trip immediately you can't even get a hotel room without a photo ID not to mention a thousand other things you need an ID on a from Virginia to Florida to California work trip I purchased the footlong cheese steak with onions fried mayonnaise lettuce and tomato Tomatoes were fresh lettuce was shredded perfectly mistake with season and tender the provolone cheese was extremely thick and when you pull the sub away it was like mozzarella long string piece for my mouth to the sub in my hand delicious nothing like a good steak sub with provolone cheese I hate that cheese whiz some of these places put on an american cheese does not have the flavor or the thickness of provolone does provolone is a perfect combination with the steak let us mayonnaise and tomato the onions are the topper just enough and cooked not too well but soft I've gotten a pizza before the sausage and pepperoni is my favorite but the mushrooms and bake it is good but if you really want to try something interesting get the steak and cheese pizza waiting for the release of the one thing you will get is a lot of steak on the pizza much more than a regular topping like mushrooms sausage they put a lot of steak on it it's a topping unlike the rest of the toppings it's like a steak and cheese on a pizza not...

I went here for dinner today with my dad. We had ordered 3 cheesesteaks (2 for us and an extra for my mom), 2 slices of Pizza, and an order of bacon cheese fries. The pizza was delicious but had a thin crust. The sauce was not super acidic and had a bit of a sweetness to it. When the cheesesteaks came I was super excited to taste them. I knew that they were going to taste good because the smell was making my mouth water as my dad drove home.

When we arrived home, I was super excited to open the cheesesteak. It was so delicious and tasted amazing with all the toppings (I ordered mine with bacon, onions, and mushrooms). The bacon cheese fries were to die for. The cheese sauce was super creamy and tasted amazing with the bacon pieces scattered on top.

The service was amazing as well. Staff were friendly and personable. The cashier was super excited to hear I was ordering the bacon and cheese fries because they were her favorite thing on the menu.

The restaurant atmosphere is what you would normally expect from a cheesesteak restaurant but I liked that the restaurant was very clean and organized. I was also entertained with watching Hell's Kitchen while waiting for my order.
