This was by far THE WORST experience I've EVER encountered at a restaurant. I just left this place at 10:30pm. I was invited by my relatives for a nice family gathering at this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and I felt welcomed once I came in. We were asked if we wanted any drinks and so we ordered a bottle of wine. The server put the bottle down, (white wine) on the table without a chiller, said she would be back with it, ten minutes later she comes back with it but I had already served the wine to myself and my guests. We go to order off of the menu and we all chose pasta. My father received his first since he placed his order ahead of us. My food comes out second improperly cooked. I received no alfredo sauce even though I ordered Shrimp Pasta, which comes with alfredo. The waitress comes back to check on us and I asked if my pasta was made correctly, she says no. Returns my food back to the chef and comes back saying the chef is out of the sauce, I return the plate back to her then suggesting if I get the pasta my Mom ordered, she comes back with the manager 10 minutes later and says THE CHEF REFUSES TO COOK OUR FOOD. WE WAITED AN HOUR AND A HALF FOR THEM TO COME BACK AND TELL US THAT THE KITCHEN STAFF IS NOT WANTING TO MAKE OUR FOOD!!! It was the most horrific, distasteful, unprofessional experience I've EVER had in a restaurant. I've been in the restaurant industry for 10 years and I've managed a restaurant staff before. It is 100% uncalled for to decline a guest ANYTHING when they are patronizing your business! We were not constantly complaining, we were not beligerent, and we paid for everything we ordered! Then, we come to find out that the chef is a substitute chef and he was also DRUNK. I WILL NOT be coming back to support this business and the chef deserves to be fired immediately on the spot. I will be making sure that none of my friends or family will return there!...
Read moreI cannot say enough good things about the Wise Owl Wine Bar! I recently hosted a private event at the bar. Eric (the manager) closed the bar down for my guests only. Eric and his staff are an absolute pleasure to work with. The venue was clean, warm, and inviting. It had a great atmosphere! The drink selection was amazing! As was the dessert! Eric accommodated my every request and made sure the event ran smoothly. I can't recommend this place enough if you are considering stopping by for an after work glass of wine, or hosting a private event. Keep up the good work! I'll for sure be back and will recommend this place to all my...
Read moreWent after work with some friends. Food is only tapas, no meals available so ordered several things. Mushrooms, hummus, shrimp, a bruschetta pizza, everything was delicious. No real choices if you like sweet wines, but the mixed drinks were creative and tasty. The only big con for me was that it was SO NOISY!!! Like crazy, out of control, feel like you need to SCREAM across the table noisy. We had gathered together to visit and it was a challenge. There is a bar with TVs and sports games on, and the gentlemen gathered with loud enthusiasm - not what I would expect in a wine bar. It was...
