We stayed with my son's team and left after day 2.||The website never said they were undergoing renovations- workers everywhere, ladders, equipment and the floors, elevators and whole hotel was dusty and dirty. They also had work trucks outside with buckets that had workers so you had to keep your curtains closed all day. No one was around to clean or keep the hotel clean during the day.||||The breakfast was ok- it seems as if they put the same food (day old) out each day as some of the "bread" items were a bit stale so we opted for the fresh fruit. The coffee carafes were not fresh throughout the day. If you get coffee at 8am, you come back at 3pm and its luke warm and bitter.||||There was no one cleaning the breakfast area or even the main part of the hotel- we left at 8am and came back later in the day and the same cups, napkins were still on the tables.||||The hallways were dark, gross, room doors were scratched and dented||||The worst part about it was our room (202). When I arrived I noticed a dark stain on our ceiling that may have been patched over. I took a photo of it. The next day, upon our return from a long day, I noticed that the patch had spread so I took another photo off day 2. The desk chair also had significant staining on it- we didn't sit it in because we had no idea what it was. Our room also did not have a safety lock/deadbolt- we called the front desk and yes, they installed it but why did our room not have a safety lock on it?||||The bathroom door gets stuck- seriously stuck that you have to either push it so hard or kick it to open it. I was afraid my daughter and I would get stuck in the bathroom because it took my husband to help us open it. The front desk person had someone look at it and they said nothing was wrong with it.||||That night after I saw the mold/water stain spread on our ceiling, I called for the general manager, I emailed him and also sent him a Facebook Chat. All pictures were attached. No reply at all. We asked to be moved at 10pm at night, the front desk showed us another room that was just as bad! The next morning, we left. 1 month after our stay- we still haven't heard back from the general manager. I told the front desk person that they should NOT sell that room and block it from all reservations.||||||Do not stay here- not only is it undergoing renovations but the staff are very unwelcoming or helpful. Especially after our ordeal with the room (202). It doesn't matter if the hotel is beautiful after the renovations but the general manager needs to train their staff and also respond to customers after experiencing what we did during our stay.||||Stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Palm Bach Gardens instead. Not just a beautiful hotel but CLEAN, no mold, the staff is so nice and welcoming. Although no breakfast, it really makes a difference when the rooms are clean and staff is...
Read moreI use to love Hampton inn at west palm beach. I go there every month for school clinicals and stay there for 3 days. This time was my 5 time including other students. Last month stay was great as always but the manager Racheal Rose was rude and not pleasant but I took it as she was having a bad day. But this month was when I decided to never return back with my friends. I booked 2 rooms with double beds. I was charged $878.01 per room for the 3 days. Now for what ever mistake they made, they over charged me $975 from my card. I spoke with the receptionist Fabian who was nice and explained to me that the person who checked me in was new and that she over charged me and that I was going to get my refund within 3 days. I explained to him I will need my money back on my card since I will be going back and will need money for my transportation. I asked for the managers number and unfortunately it was the same Rachel Rose. I tried to explain to her but instead of her listening to me she started to defend her staff by saying 1 st of all I want you to know it’s not our staff fault so I asked her if it was my bank fault and she said no but with Hilton system. Well I told her I don’t care all I need is my money. Well she hanged up the phone on me. I was really shocked. She called back again and asked if I was ready to talk and I told her that was rude and she hanged up again. I called the cooperate office and they linked her with me. She lied and told them I raised my voice. Now I’m suppose to call my institution to get their email for her to send a request for them to release my money back. Well it’s a weekend so I need to wait till Monday. It’s 3am and I can’t even sleep.. I need my money to pay my bills too. I feel I have to shut my mouth and beg for my money. Dejour there and Fabian were the only professionals and the new girl in training but for Racheal Rose as. a manager ? She needs more training with customer service. I will take my business somewhere she is rude as heck and unprofessional no apology nothing what so ever. It’s a shame for a hotel like...
Read moreJust stayed here the night of the 24th through the morning of the 25th. If I could rate the staff members alone verses the hotel stay they would get 5 stars. All of the staff members are absolutely amazing, very helpful and friendly. If you put them in a clean hotel, that particular hotel would do wonderfully BUT.... As an honors member I was able to choose my room on the app. I got there and the fourth floor where I chose my room is currently being renovated. No biggie. The guy at the desk moved us to the third floor. We call down after noticing there are no pillows or sheets and find out third floor is being renovated as well. This is where my low star rating comes into play now. Got placed in room 123 right next to the fitness room and there is black mold on the ac in that room. You can smell it as you walk into the room. The poor guy at the desk whose name I didn't catch was more than helpful during all of the room swapping. We finally ended up in a room on the second floor. Due to the renovations the elevator was not fun to try to use as the renovators would continuously be up and down the only working elevator out of two elevators as well. When we finally laid down to sleep our sheets were damp as well as our pillows. I honestly would not stay here again nor would I recommend anyone to stay at a hotel that has black mold. I won't specify the staff member as I respect them and the fact they need a job but being told "There is possibly black mold in every room." Is definitely not something any guest should hear. Hampton/Hilton, whatever, yall need to take care of that and worry less about what the furniture in the rooms looks like because from what I saw that's all your...
