China Wok — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

I was excited to try this place after all of the wonderful reviews but, after last night's dinner - I'm curious to know if those reviews were from actual customers because our experience was completely different. We ordered the pineapple chicken combo, boneless spare ribs combo and pan fried dumplings to go. The egg rolls were burnt so badly that it baffles me that they actually thought it was okay to bag and give them to a customer. The dumplings were gummy and soggy - the dipping sauce and chili oil couldn't even save them. The boneless spare ribs, my favorite, tasted old. Every single piece was hard and tough to chew. It wasn't just overcooked - they were overcooked and then fried over. The worse thing was the pineapple chicken. I didn't believe my husband when he said there wasn't any flavor so I tried a piece and NOTHING! It tasted like nothing. How is that possible? Water has more flavor. While eating the pork fried rice, I found pieces of grey pork which prompted me to stop eating immediately. We are not picky people by any means but I had to leave a review on this place so others (like ourselves) are not misguided because those prior reviews are hard to believe after last night's experience. MAYBE ONE DAY SOME WILL SENT THEM THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO DO INSPECTION FOR SELLING BAD FOOD...

I work nearby and have been getting lunch from here about once a week for the past 4 years. In the past 3 months everything has changed for the worse.

The new cashiers are always abrasive and cold. They either neglect to ask important questions or fail to mention available options. Today I wasn't asked what rice I wanted and was just given pork fried rice even though I don't eat pork.

The food quality has also fallen. It used be very savory while not being heavy, but today it was bland and saturated in sauce. It was frankly depressing compared to the quality they use to serve.

I'm not sure what has happened to this place, whether it is new management or a new owner, but overall it's just not what it use to be. it is not the worst by any means, but it is no longer good and far from being the best like...
