Not a good experience this visit at all. First I'd like to make an operational suggestion. There were 4 people working today stumbling over each other and stopping to labrish whether explaining what food was for whom or private conversations. Leaving those of us waiting for orders to be taken standing there watching the mix up way too long. When someone finally came they didn't know the order of customer arrival, which I had to speak up and say I'm next since the server went to help the last person that arrived first. The logics seemed to me that 2 people should have been serving food, which they can mark on the container what the food is and 2 people taking payments since there are 2 registers...Try this for efficiency please. The second and most important thing is I came with my coworkers (both American) and both found comfort in only eating curry chicken. I too ordered the curry chicken. My coworker started eating before me and asked should the chicken be pink! I took a look and the chicken wasn't properly cooked so I told her to bring it to the ladies and get something else. I checked my chicken and same some of it wasn't properly cooked. I brought it back to the older short lady that originally served me and instead of apologizing and showing proper customer service she had the audacity to say "Ah suh it supposed to stay" as if I don't know uncooked meat. I had to literally demand something else and say to her what if this gets me sick, then what can you do about that? I asked for fry chicken She gave an unacceptable attitude then went to serve rice and started putting brown stew chicken in the container, then asked me if I want brown stew??? I just agreed as to not make a scene. She then had the nerve to give me just 2 little pieces of chicken as if I'm a 3 year old child, and handed it to me with an attitude!! She serously needs to be counseled on customer service etiquette as this isn't the first time she's given me an attitude and bad customer service, but for sure it's the last time. The young lady that help my coworker gave her 2 little pieces of fry chicken as if serving a toddler too. We both should have received the same amount of food paid for (that was originally served with the uncooked curry chicken) along with a simple apology PERIOD. When we got there there wasn't an organized way of taking orders, it seemed like 1 person came to take one persons order, and she went and then checked them out and got swamped with other customers. It took awhile before someone else came over and helped us, as well as the line that formed, but then again it was only 1 person, meanwhile there were 3 other people around. I ordered curry chicken, and while I was eating it, I noticed some red pieces and blood on the chicken and I knew it wasn't done. I told them at the front and the lady took my food to the back to show the owner. When she came back, she told me my only options were the curry chicken or brown stew chicken. At that point, I didn't want any more curry chicken because I didn't know the condition of it. I asked for fried chicken, instead and she didn't want to give me that. When she did, I was only given 2 pieces, and by the looks of it, she gave me a kids meal with the one scoop of cabbage. I had to ask for sauce on my rice, even though it wasn't a lot of that anyway. On top of that, another person in my party, her chicken also wasn't done and the older lady who works there tried to tell her that's how it's supposed to look. The older lady didn't want to give her a new plate at all. Overall, I don't think I will be back to this location...
Read moreIt was my first time there today. I bought a large oxtail dinner, a small curry chicken, and a small fried chicken, a total of $44.93. I tasted the rice on my way home, and I nearly vomited in the car. The rice is dry, and the oxtail gravy tasted salary and sooooo bad. OMG! It made me nauseous. The food is extremely cold, and the rice definitely was not cooked today. I called the store manager to complain about the awful food that they are serving people, I asked her if they are the same as Golden Krust in Tamarac, FL because that's where I always go when I'm in Broward and they never disappoint, she said they are independently owned, I said no wonder this food tastes so awful. She apologized and wanted me to bring the food back to exchange them for something else. I told her I'm not doing that, I lived in Delray, and I absolutely did not want anything else from them. I wished she had offered to return my $44.93, but she did not. I am currently at Duffys waiting for 50 honey garlic wings that I ordered because I can not take that nasty food home to my family.
