I had the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant, it was unbelievable. Soon as me and my family walked in the waitress didn’t greet us. She looked more annoyed than anything to see us walk in. When we got all situated she would roll her eyes everytime we would ask for more time. When we ordered she would ask “is that it?” with an annoyed voice. Once we got our food my husband asked about the chili oils and if they were spicy and the person serving our food, a waiter this time, said “it’s chili oil, what do you think” in a very sarcastic unfriendly tone and rolled his eyes. Honestly we should’ve gone home at this point but we stayed and again my husband asked him which of the chili oils were spicy for him as my husband wanted something spicy and the waiters reply was “they’re not spicy for me; none are spicy for me; why don’t you just try them”…..still we decided to stay and eat our food but it was also not that great. My sister ordered a crispy California roll and the avocado in it was black, we had to return it. The sweet tea tasted as if they put a whole bag of sugar in the cup, we had to ask for extra water and the waitress looked so annoyed that we even asked. The food also was just not the best especially after all of that. From the moment we walked in the customer service was not great and it just got worse the longer we were there. Safe to say that we will not be coming back ever again and I recommend not even dining in. If I could give it 0 stars I would but I just don’t want someone to come here and waste their money like we did

***Edit: I'm having to edit this review because the last three times I've been there, they've given me spring rolls that are busted open but they turn them over, hoping I wouldn't notice? I order takeout so it's hard to complain in person but I've attached photos of what I was given last night. Both spring rolls were completely split all the way down and they busted open when I tried to pick them up. I've gone to so many pho places over the years and I've never seen this before. This is terrible quality. Not sure I'll be back now. I'd rather drive for better food.*** I'm somewhat of a pho connoisseur, and living on this side of Fort Worth means there's really slim pickings when it comes to good Vietnamese food. Pho House is just okay. It hits the spot, and it's better than other restaurants near, but it's still a bit lacking. The grilled chicken spring rolls are marinated in some kind of red sauce. There's no char or depth to the flavor. They are usually wrapped pretty loosely. Definitely not the best I've had. The pho isn't much better. I often find myself wishing broth was a bit saltier, but at Pho House, the broth is almost too salty. The small bowl is huge, so it really comes gown to quantity vs. quality. Lucky for me, I work in Haltom City, so I do have access to phenomenal Vietnamese during the week, but I'm a little disappointed on the weekends when I'm craving pho and I have to settle.

I am giving them one star for presentation. I give the food 4 stars. (Had pho with spoiled meatballs). They had lost power during the Feb week long freeze. That was the explanation they gave us. Instead of throwing out the meat they still served it. They apologized and didn't change for that bowl. We decided to give them the benefit of doubt. We've been back several times since then. But tonight was an uncomfortable experience. In the past they placed your fork in a little white paper bag. (See photo) So tonight we were seated our food and we ask for our silverware. We were told it was in this stainless container (which felt sticky to the touch) that was on the table loose mixed with chopsticks, paper wraped straws . I asked the waitress "How do I or you know that someone didn't stick a dirty fork back in there" She could not give a answer. She was nice and I want to think they were clean ones from the back. I love their food and the staff. I know there is a paper shortage.. I guess "if" I do go back Ill take my own silverware until they figure out another way to give customers their silverware.

The first time I was here was a long time ago when they first opened since they've added a little bit of a porch extension to shield you as you come up to the door and once you walk into the door don't let him put you in the far back in a booth. It's very cold back there and we asked to be relocated after we sat there. Being relocated to a table up front, my wife placed an order for a smoothie and she finally got it after we were done with lunch. Lunch took a while to order because they kept coming back on the smoothie saying they didn't have that you and going to try something else so she tried something else and come back with it. Didn't have something to go in that so she finally got a smoothie ordered and we ordered one lunch item with a sharing of two plates. 5 minutes later are our food appeared well. It wasn't blistering hot but at least it wasn't cold. And we had to ask for a second plate even though we asked to share and the server even said he would bring another plate. Well he didn't. So then by time we're done with our lunch. Here comes my wife's smoothie. I don't know why it shouldn't have come before which it should have but she had dessert I guess for her lunch. Anyway, not impressed with the servers. Ability to be exact and on time with the food. And as you'll notice on the menu everything is $14 or $15. There's nothing in between and I think the menu is overpriced. I think the food is lacking in flavor. You had to add soy sauce to have any kind of flavor on what we ordered and it was basically chicken fried rice with vegetables. The vegetables were not crisp but they were done okay and they weren't mushy but again they lack any flavor and my wife thought they were greasy. The oil was evident at the bottom of the plate which the rice was sitting on and she would know she's Asian of descent and I've eaten better at lesser places, especially outside of the US. Anyway, I won't be back. I'm not impressed. Look at the menu before you go and expect to be...

I was really hoping to make this place my go-to pho house mainly due to location. Unfortunately, the cons heavily outweighed the pros.

What they do well: Their skewered beef is excellent. It may be a touch too sweet for some, but you can taste the char that they put on it. Very delicious.

The beef quality seems to be good every time I've been.

Grilled chicken spring rolls are pretty good as well.

What they do not so well: Overall service. Lack of attention, forgetting orders, lying about portions (ask them directly how much meat comes in a normal portion and why they choose to short you, I was stunned at their boldness).

The music is absolutely horrible and way too loud most of the time. This is subjective, I know, but I look around the restaurant and can see it on everyone's faces as well

It's always dirty and sticky.

Chicken is Sahara desert dry. Inedible. Ask for the grilled chicken if you want chicken pho.

Prices DO NOT reflect portion served. This is a blatant rip off.

Overall atmosphere is on the depressing side. Staff and customers just look like their all just suffering through till the end of the day.

The items on the menu are VERY hit or miss. Stick to what you know. I'd recommend pho, skewers and spring rolls. Wouldn't take the risk on anything else. I suppose beer is safe 🙃

Take the plunge for yourself and make a list! Perhaps I'm just a pho elitist, but I...
