Economy Hotel Plus+ Wichita — Hotel in Wichita

Were do I start.... This is absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. As soon as we entered we immediately smelt a gross lingering smell mixed with a cigarette smell. The signs on the front desk said many things that make me feel uncomfortable, Out of all the information on the posted paper that made me uncomfortable, this one made me the most worried about the place: "we reserve the right to enter your room at any moment during your stay without warning."

We waited almost 40 minutes before we even were helped as the guy behind the desk ran around seeing us multiple times and looking at us. Multiple customers during this time started to gather around us and it just got weirder from there as each person almost seemed to have a interesting personality. Some would talk to themselves and had very obvious needle injection marks on there arms. We finally after the 40 minutes of waiting got help from a staff member, he gave us a room, on the way to the room we saw bags of decomposed trash in the hallway, and even worse, our room already had people in it, so we returned to the front desk to talk to the staff member, but than we waited again for another 20 ish minutes. After waiting again we immediately told them we wanted a refund.

I 100% would never stay here unless you are not scared of losing your life. This place deserves to...

So they were condemned today and the only help that could be offered was homeless shelter for all of us that paid in advance we didn't get a refund or any explanation just was told by police to take them to court and sue them they didn't offer to put us up anywhere or anything I have a 17 month old daughter and I used all of my money to pay y'all a few weeks in advance and the rest of my bills and now we are out in the cold keeping our baby worm because I get paid again the Wednesday after next (almost 2 weeks) and my husband isn't working he just got cleared from Drs to go back to work he was on workers comp temporary total disability the other day so he's actively looking but he does have lawyers so I just want it made right at the other hotel y'all own on West. So by Monday someone needs to call me because it's either getting my 2 week refund or being credited to the other economy with the 2 weeks starting over the for hassle and the trouble of me using every last cent to get a hotel until Monday and your lucky it's not more. So full cash refund or 2 week room at the other economy or court house. One of those 3 options will...

Dont even know where to start. The room is okay. Service is awful. I had to ask everyday for a week just to get towels. Im paid for two weeks. After the first week they are trying to move me to a smaller room saying that they arent charging me the correct price for the room I am in. I have been accused of putting trash in the stairwell when my trash is clearly right outside my door waiting to get picked up by the housekeepers that are almost non existant. I even asked if I could use the vacuum myself and I would clean my own room and coulnt even provide that. I havent been able to get clean sheets and was told the beds do not come with blankets. Safety is another concern. There is always different types of people hanging out in the hallways, and music and parties all night. I am here with my spouse and two kids. If your looking for a clean safe quite family oriented place to stay with good service and employees who actually care I would advise staying elsewhere. Even off broadway would be better!

As someone who previously worked housekeeping at another hotel I cannot even believe they find this service anywhere close...
