This place is truly outdated. Almost everything they had on the hot bars was cold, dry, and stale. The saddest part was a lot of the food that was out on the bar. Even though it was in a supposed to be hot area, most of the food wasn't cooked all the way through. I tried the baby clams, and they were cold. The oysters were not even cooked all the way through, and they were covered with a cheese that was rancid. I spent over $65 for all of us to eat and we had to stop on the way home and get something because none of us could eat the food that was there except for the desert I take that back. And the lady that was at the register had the worst attitude I've ever seen out of anybody. She didn't want to accept that her food was beyond subpar. The waiter didn't know how to say thank you or you're welcome. When you asked him for something, he had an attitude like you were putting him out. Then one of the other ladies who was a server there came up to the register and was like there was no money left on the table for a tip, to where I said why is that your business? If I leave a tip, it is my choice, not yours. The bathroom reached so bad I had to light a match just to go to the bathroom and how much you'll be able to stomach the smell. You couldn't even wash your hands because the water stunk. So, thankfully, they had hand sanitizers at the front of the restaurant. Thankfully, we were able to use that without being charged. I was taking pictures of the food and the lady that's at the front of the house was yelling through the restaurant at our waiter that I was taking pictures of the food basically he needed to come and see what was going on and he never did, to the table that is they just kept peeking over walls to see what I was doing. I went to this place when I first moved back to town several years ago, and it was amazing. It is truly gone downhill, and the Health Department really needs to visit. The funny part was when I got my fortune cookie and I opened it there was no fortune in it, LOL

So this is quite a complicated one. This place has a lot of unrealized potential. Just a few changes and this could be one of the best Chinese restaurants in Wichita. As it stands however it's not great. The decor is very dated and there are a couple of blatant health and safety violations. With a little effort and a few buckets of paint this could easily be rectified. Paint the boat, re-cover some chairs. Install led lights to brighten up the place a bit, right now it's a dark dingy hole. The entryway will immediately discourage you from entering, it is worn and uninviting. For the love of God please clean/paint the doors. (Image attached) The food is mixed, the stuff that has been made on the day is really good, the sauces are flavorful and the quality is great. HOWEVER the dishes are made in massive quantities and the amount of patrons doesn't support this so food is sitting for days uneaten, and this is evident in the chewy, lukewarm chicken and the vast warmish trays of salad. Solution? Prepare a third as much at a time. It'll be fresher safer and tastier. Prices are slightly below other local buffets but only a little and not enough to offset the lower quality. We visited a couple of times as I felt we just got there at a bad time but it seems it's not that. We will be back in the future to see if anything has changed and I hope it does as this restaurant truly has potential, right now this is probably not worth the visit.

I was finally able to visit and I want to start off with the positives. The atmosphere is great and our server was very accommodating. The selection of food is awesome there is a lot to chose from and the dessert section has a wide variety of options. I went around 7:30 PM on a Friday night and it was pretty dead.. Not to many people dining in, which at a buffet I look at to be a double edge sword. Now that being said I was truly disappointed and let down because A LOT of the food I tried was room temperature at best and on my first plate I tried the chicken skewer.. It was literally COLD! After that I spent a lot of time putting bits and pieces of food on my plate and checking if it was hot before I served myself a larger portion. I found that if you picked from the bottom of the trays you will actually get heated food. Now the food that I was able to find warm enough to eat was actually really good. The Lo Mein, General Tso, chicken broccoli, and the black pepper chicken were amazing.. The other items I’m sure would’ve been great if it were warmer than room temperature. If you’re thinking about going I would suggest maybe going at a busier time where food is getting rotated more often or just double checking if the items you’re choosing are actually hot lol.. Wish I can say that I’m sure that I’ll be returning but I was really disappointed about the cold food. Place has a lot of potential though.

Use to be a great place to eat when they first opened. Went there this evening for dinner with my family. I had ordered sprite for my 1yr old and 2yr old to drink. At the end of our meal my husband went to pay the ticket and I noticed my son drinking my ice tea. I tried to give him his cup and noticed it was still completely full, as my daughter's was too. He refused to drink his sprite. So I tasted it and it was awful! I tried to politely tell the waiter and he just walked away ignoring me. Then a lady came over to the table and was extremely rude! Told me she just checked the pop and it was fine. She said other people ordered it and had no problem with it at all, so she suggested the problem was me! I told her she was more than welcome to taste my daughter's ( the 1yr old ) because no one had even touched that one. And she gave my daughter a disgusting look and said no she will not drink after that! Umm excuse me "that" is my 1yr old baby!! And like I said NO ONE had touched that cup, it was completely full!! She kept saying it was just me yet my husband and mother tasted it and said it was gross too. She made a big deal about how I was still going to pay for them and I should have told her when we first got them. I had already paid for our meal by this time $55.00+ tip. Paying for 2 kids drinks was not a problem! I mean really who cares about the cost of 2 Styrofoam kids drink! I was just trying to politely ( at first) let them know so they could check the syrup on the machine. She completely caused a huge ordeal over nothing! And she disrespected me and my family! Acting like we were just trying to get over on them for 2 little pops, that we had already paid for!! And yes I did get loud in there with her because I did not like the way she was treating us!! I understand not drinking after people. I don't drink after people myself. If my daughter would have drank out of it I would have never to told the woman to take a drink out of it. But you not trying your own product when someone says it's bad is just like you admitting you know it is!! Not to mention the whole time we were there no one came to give us refills or take the dirty plates from the table. This use to be a great place to eat, but we will never return. And I will make sure to let all of my followers, friends and family know how they treat...

This place was terrible... It had an order in the building like there was something rotten not a fishy smell but a decaying moldy smell. The customer service was poor. I was asked if my 3 y/o son was eatting which i replied with maybe. The gentelman said if hes eatting at all we are definitely charging. My son ate 1 roll and a server came out of no where "so ur soon is eatting right.." I agree i have no problems with paying although 5.99 for 1 roll that isnt even fresh lol..but either way.. What happened next was more upsetting I usually only eat food I can see which only leaves specific items at this sort of restaurant. Mainly Fish.. Only making a plate of fish I asked one of the workers if there were any tarter sauce one gentelman ask a few different servers and told me there was none. At this point i decided to eat my meal and just be content. As I reached the end of my meal I had ran out of my beaverage 10 min prior. Our table was covered in plates.. As if the only concern was to be sure you all got your 5.99 from my toddeler son but service is no priority in this place.. Finally I had to break down and ask the same young man who came to confirm my son was eatting for a cup of water.. While he was at the table. He ask was there anything else and I said yes Tarter sauce would have been very delicious on my meal. The young man says one second goes off and brings back several packets of Tarter sauce.. My bill. Roughly 49.00 2 adults 1 kid and a toddler. Tip. 0$ Willing to try again: Next Lifetime!

My thoughts: 50.00$ in wichita can get u a decent family meal but...
