During our recent visit to the area, we fortuitously stumbled upon this delightful restaurant amidst our shopping endeavors. It turned out to be a remarkable culinary experience for both of us. I opted for the Kadhai Lamb, a choice I was delighted with, while my sister-in-law chose the Salmon Tikka Kabob. Both dishes exceeded our expectations in terms of flavor and quality.
The Kadhai Lamb was particularly noteworthy. The lamb was cooked to perfection, tender and infused with a melange of spices that tantalized the taste buds. The red sauce accompanying the dish was a revelation – rich in flavor, with a blend of spices that was both exotic and comforting. I couldn't pinpoint the exact spices used, but their harmonious combination created a taste sensation that was simply out of this world. It was, without a doubt, one of the best culinary experiences I've ever had.
My sister-in-law's Salmon Tikka Kabob was equally impressive. The salmon was fresh, expertly seasoned, and grilled just right, resulting in a dish that was both healthy and hearty. It was evident that the kitchen prioritized freshness and quality in their cooking, with every dish served piping hot and bursting with flavor.
Another highlight of our meal was the freshly baked Baklava. One of the cooks prepares it in-house, and this attention to detail and dedication to traditional baking methods was palpable in every bite. The Baklava was flaky, sweet, and perfectly balanced – a testament to the skill and passion of the person who baked it.
The ambiance of the restaurant was unpretentious yet inviting. It had a simple, almost pizzeria-like setting with basic tables and chairs, but it was impeccably clean and well-maintained. This simplicity allowed us to focus on the exceptional food and warm, welcoming atmosphere.
I am already looking forward to my next visit to this area, primarily to revisit this restaurant. It's the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression, not just because of the excellent food but also due to the overall experience it offers. I sincerely hope they consider opening a branch near my home in West Virginia. A restaurant of this caliber would be a valuable addition to our local dining scene, offering a unique and flavorful culinary experience that is hard to...
Read moreReview for KV Kebab – A Disappointing Experience
My visit to KV Kebab was nothing short of a disaster. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the service was going to be an issue. The person who was supposed to take the orders was nowhere to be found — apparently in the bathroom for at least 4 to 5 minutes before finally showing up to take our order. In the meantime, one of the cooks from the kitchen attempted to help but was unable to figure out how to use the ordering system, which didn’t inspire much confidence.
After finally managing to place our order, we were forced to wait an entire hour for the food to be prepared — despite being the only customers in the restaurant. We initially planned to eat there, but the wait was so long that we ended up asking for our food to-go instead.
To make matters worse, we ordered a lassi (a yogurt-based drink), and when we started drinking it, we discovered that it was expired. That was the final straw.
The service was terrible, the food took way too long, and the fact that the place was completely empty should have been a warning sign. This was easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I would strongly recommend avoiding KV Kebab — there are far better...
Read moreGreat first time experience! I've been excited to try out this place, as I'm a big fan of middle eastern and Indian cuisine. Everything was beyond what I expected! The owners were extremely friendly and explained they plan on expanding the menu. They currently have a great selection, but they'll be adding even more dishes and desserts. I tried the lamb gyro, the chicken Tikka kabob, and the chicken curry (currently only available on weekends). The gyro was huge and so flavorful! It was served on a fresh made naan as opposed to a pre-fab pita as other places tend to do. The chicken kabob was juicy, delicious, and well cooked. Both the gyro and kabob came with a green sauce that added a refreshing touch to the food. The chicken curry was spot on! The sauce is definitely one of the best I've tried in the area and was great to dip the naan in. The restaurant itself was very clean and had plenty of seating available. I'm excited to try more of their menu items as they expand....
