Sanjar the owner is a wonderful man. He can make guests feel at home in seconds. Always eager to help and does not hesitate to wake up at 2:30 in the morning to call cab for guests leaving early to catch flight. He kept the place SPOTLESS CLEAN. The collection of his antiques display is jaw dropping. The only issue I had was that, his guest house is a bit away from the main attraction, but I still gave him a five star because he made all the arrangements for me such as calling cabs several times, making reservations at restaurants, finding me a guide etc to make my life much easier during my stay in Samarkand. They all have a view on the inside yard, so it's very quiet. There is a well equipped kitchen as well that can be used by the guests.
