Le Grand Plaza Hotel in Tashkent was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Let's start with the room—they must have saved their worst for me. The linens were stained, and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. I wouldn't let my worst enemy stay in such dismal conditions.||||And don't get me started on the food. I've had better meals at gas stations. The so-called "continental breakfast" was a sad excuse for a meal, with stale pastries and watery coffee. I wouldn't dare touch anything from their kitchen again.||||As for customer service, there was none to speak of. The staff were not just indifferent, but outright rude. They treated guests like an inconvenience rather than paying customers. To add insult to injury, they tried to nickel and dime us for everything, from extra towels to basic amenities. Despite my explanation, the hotel staff, including a manager who did not introduce himself, refused to check me in due to their internal policies. I was advised to cancel the booking to avoid any charges, as they did not allow me to stay.I had to leave the hotel and find alternative accommodation after a long flight with my infant, which was highly stressful. They saw my baby was crying and my husband and I were jet legged not even offering us to use Lobby even as human being. I had never expected any hotel to be such insensitive. They told me to cancel my booking so they would refund but no refund I received. When I called back, they were even ready to scream at me rather than helping. I am handling my case through my international app I used. It is not always about money as nothing can restore my bad experience with my infant that day. This Hotel Does Not Even...
