Lounge Beach Bar - Restaurant — Restaurant in Đà Nẵng

I'm almost tempted to give the Lounge Beach Bar and Restaurant a bad review so I'll have this place all to myself. 😂

This is my favorite place in Da Nang. My wife and I live down the street and come here constantly. I've been coming to this restaurant for many years, and will probably be coming here for many years to come.

The food menu is good and mixed. My one complaint would be that there are things on the menu that the restaurant doesn't have, and things not on the menu that the restaurant does have. Nothing you can't fix by asking or going to the bar and looking around, but a minor issue none the less.

The service here is also fantastic. Bear in mind, this is Vietnam and if you want something you have to get a servers attention. In western countries, wait staff will periodically check on you. Thats not how Vietnam works, and it's a cultural issue, not an issue of professionalism on the part of the staff. The staff here is amazing, hard working and professional.

Lastly and most obviously, this is the best view of the beach, in the city of Da Nang. Hands down. There is just no place better at any time of day. Try it out, and thank me later.

Visited on 28th Feb. Was expecting great food and service because of the many good reviews but was disappointed. The dish that was the most disappointing was the Baked Grouper. It wasn't thoroughly cooked. When we feedback to the wait staff, he simply brought it back to the kitchen and re-presented the same, eaten fish back to us heated up! Imagine the horror that this happened in such a posh set up! Also I bet others have eaten my friend's saliva when the grouper was put back onto the grill and have their dinner cooked on it thereafter.

A new grouper was dish was replaced but not after a fuss was made to the manager. He couldn't explain why this has happened and when the bill came, there was nothing done and had to feedback that service wasn't up to par and service charge was then dropped. (No pictures of the half eaten raw fish as it was too disappointing)

Not sure if this happened because the usual chef went home for Thet and they hired a really sub par chef for that period. It has left a bad experience for us and we won't recommend Lounge Beach Bar even though the...
