I arrived on the 19th of January and was put in a small room to begin, but was told I would be upgraded the next night and for the rest of my stay. The first room was very small with a tiny window. If someone was staying for a short time it would be an okay room. ||||My upgraded room was much bigger. With a slight view of the sea. The bed was really comfy and I had a large bathroom with a shower and bath. There is free coffee, tea and water. Shampoo and body wash are supplied along with a toothbrush and hand soap. ||The television had plenty of channels if you are keen to chill out in front of the TV. ||||The location of the hotel was perfect! It’s close enough to the beach as well as being amongst the hustle and bustle of the streets where the restaurants and shops are located.||||If I come back to Vietnam, which I probably will as it so wonderful I would certainly stay here again. It was a great stay which gave me excellent value for money as well as being perfectly located. ||||The staff were very friendly and would try to help with anything that you need. They worked throughout the New Year celebrations and did so with a smile. Well done to all of the staff!||||I would recommend people to stay here who like value for money and appreciate simplicity and friendly staff. ||||The breakfast buffet was really good. There was a wide variety of food available with eggs cooked to order. Most people will be able to find something...
Read morePros: The hotel looks very modern in Vietnam standards. The hotel was very accommodating in that I had a room when I arrived early. The view from the rooftop was ok, it was best during the night because you get to see the city lights versus seeing the rundown neighboring buildings in the morning. You get fresh water bottles everyday so you wont get sick from drinking tap water which is nice. There's a lot of restaurant nearby and a mart literally seconds away from the hotel.
Cons: As the exterior may fool you, this hotel is a 3star because even though the towels and chairs are stained, they will still utilize them. The rooms are compact, and the walls of the room are built cheaply because there's no noise reduction and you can easily be awakened in the morning by the neighboring rooms or the hotel personnel - privacy not the best here. Leading to my next point, the service here was a little too much as they appeared very nosey. Taxi personnel will chat with the hotel personnel and I felt followed throughout my stay here. For travelers that aren't used to eating dense food in the morning, the food here was all Vietnamese except for omelets - which is 5% of the selection. You can be left hungry if you wanted to have a light breakfast. Additionally, not every room has a small security vault like the 4 or 5 stars hotel. For a hotel in which you can literally go through the floors without a room key is...
Read moreStayed in December 2018. The staff was very friendly and often took the extra step to assist us in all our needs. The do speak English, though probably not as fluently as people expect, but it should be enough for you to communicate your needs to the hotel. There is still a lot of construction occurring outside the hotel, but if you are in Da Nang you'll know that basically the whole city is under construction everywhere. Our hotel room was very clean, and they cleaned the room every day during our stay (just make sure that the room is vacant sometime during mid day). If you want/need a safety box, you need to indicate that to the reception as check in as it is not default in every room. They have bell service that will carry your bags to/from your car. The best part is the hotel has their own driver service which they charged us $700,000 VND for half a day (we used this to go to Hoi An & Marble Mountain) the driver will take you wherever you want to go and wait for you to finish. Hotel also serves a breakfast buffet that has different...
