May Beach Hotel — Hotel in Đà Nẵng

I stayed at this hotel for a month, so I got a really good impression. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the laundry service worked well. The location is quite good for a budget hotel.

However, there were several problems with the room. First, the room was way smaller than what was advertised on the booking site, which I find unacceptable; this alone justifies the one star rating for the room. When I arrived, the safe was not working because the battery was dead. Also, the phone in the room did not work. When I moved the bed, I found a thick layer of dirt underneath, which was really disgusting. It made me wonder why the rooms are not properly checked for cleanliness and functionality before guests arrive. The room did not have a window to the outside, only to the hallway. I learned that some rooms have windows only to a dark ventilation shaft, which means no daylight at all. This was not mentioned on the booking site. Also, the bed is was in a very poor condition, I could feel every spring. The rooms also do not block noise well from the hallway, although I did not hear much noise from the street.

The bathroom smelled bad and did not have a shower separation, which made the shower experience unpleasant because water would spread everywhere. The shower itself did not work properly. Sometimes the sheets and towels had stains, which is not acceptable.

Overall, I would only consider staying here for a couple of nights if there are no other choices, the price is very low, and you don’t have high expectations. It is not a place for a comfortable or...

You get what you pay for. Nothing very special about this hotel apart from it being in close proximity of the beach and having a convenience store right next door. As we enter the room, we were hit with a pungent smell of bleach and maybe even mold. Floors cracked, yellowed tech, dark bathroom, broken night stand. Some guests smoke near the staircase which lingers into the room. Others come back late at night and you can hear them clearly while sleeping. Not many amenities and wifi pretty slow. Towels aren’t perfectly clean so you can get your essentials like the towel, soap, hand soap, shampoo, etc at the convenience store nearby. Overall great and kind staff. Laundromat next by too which cleans clothes for really cheap (18k). Many cute coffee shops around and lots of Quang Noodles down the street if you walk for 5-10 mins. Shops and food places do not open very early (7 am for some to start opening). Great night life but can be noisy from hotel room if you sleep early. Hotel door beeps annoyingly if not closed and there’s a keycard holder at the door to activate electricity...

Alittle hard to judge this Hotel in the current environment.

There are not many tourists around so not all services were open in the hotel.

Booked though Agoda, room was not whelat was expecting but the lady at reception sorted me out with a new room (room booked was meant to have an outside view, room provided was an internal with no views).

Hotel comes in under search with a pool, hotel does not have one.

The room i ended with was large with great city side view and plenty of natural light. Room was clean enough and bed comfortable.

For the price currently and the location it was good, just a small bit of stuffing around at start and would only accept cash to pay for room at end (again probably due to lack of people and services operating).
