DON'T GO TO: Nam Xuan Premium hotel in Da Lat!!!||Worst hotel ever! ||1. They were renovating the entrance floor of the hotel for 2 days and started to work at 7 AM. Woke us up every morning at 7 AM because of the noise. It was so loud and so disrespectful to the guests who paid to sleep in this hotel.||2. We sent 2 separated laundry sacks at 12AM. They told us it's gonna be ready in 24 hours. It wasn't. 24 hours later they told us it's not ready yet and that it's going to be ready at 8PM. Then, at 8PM, First, they told us they lost it. Then, they told us they have found it but all we got is one combined plastic bag (while we sent it in 2 separated laundry sacks, and told them 3 times we want it to be delivered SEPARATELY.||So they lost the laundry sacks.||Then, we opened the plastic bag and noticed that all the white shirts have some black stains and dots on it. Plenty of them. Some of the shirts are basically ruined and can't be used anymore.||||All they told us is : "This is not our fault, your shirts were very dirty" - wtf?||Then "ok this is the laundry place's fault not ours"||Then "ok we are going to refund you for the laundry money".||And then " ok we can't do anything, my boss will come tomorrow at 6AM, you need to wake up and come talk to him".||||The day after, we woke up at 6AM especially to meet this boss, and guess what? There is no boss. Just another guy in the reception who told us "wait until 8AM for the boss" and then he confessed that they didn't even contacted the "boss" and no one is coming and the boss is in Ho Chi Min city and doesn't even know about us.||||So they gave us 60K dong(2.5$) for 5 ruined T-Shirts which were bought for a lot more. This doesn't even cover the cost of the laundry sacks.||||So that's it guys, be careful of this hotel. Really, it doesn't even worth a 1$. Worst experience in Vietnam, my first bad experience with any hotel or hostel here , and I'm traveling in Asia for 3 months already and been in plenty of hotels and hostels.||||We just wanted them to take responsibility for their actions. They also didn't even reply to my mail which I sent 3 days...
Read moreTo start off with we were made to pay for ‘early check in’ despite the fact the room was clean and ready and we arrived at 9am. We would completely understand if it was early hours of the morning or they had to clean the room and get it ready early for us, but instead we had to pay 120,000vnd just for them to hand over a key. Room had no windows which we were aware of when booking but they had zero ventilation so the room was so stuffy and extremely damp, mould on the ceiling and after a few nights we really struggled to breath in there. No aircon to cool the room down, only a fan. The bed was SO hard… being backpackers we are no strangers to a firm bed and aren’t fussy but this was hard on another level. Felt like some wood had just been wrapped in a bed sheet, we struggled to sleep or get comfortable. They offered no daily of the room despite being a ‘premium hotel’. You have to hand over your key and ask for it to be cleaned and even then all they do is change the towels and empty the bin. We rented a motorbike for 2 days in a row and each time we did they made us wait until they had completely drained the petrol out of it so the needle was literally on empty. Would NOT come back here and would definitely NOT recommend staying at the ‘premium’ (barely...
Read morePerhaps it was down to our room choice or allocation, not sure, but all I would say is noise noise noise!||I appreciate that this is due to guests rather than the hotel itself, but the staff did not seem to notice or do anything to limit the noise from guests especially early in the morning or late at night.||We booked the cheapest room with no window or built in air conditioning (although there was a fan, not that we needed it) and got a room on the ground floor, not far from reception. To be fair the room was nice, looked fairly new, although the bed was extremely extremely firm (much to my husbands disliking). The bathroom was grand although it took sometime for the water to heat up and with no shower screen everything gets soaked.||It's in a good spot about 10 mins walk to the lake and about 15 mins walk to the night market. It's got plenty of eateries near, just a shame about the noise.||The receptionist was able to organise a taxi to Dalat airport after ours fell through at very short notice, thank you.||If you choose to stay I would suggest requesting a room on the top floor, otherwise look for alternative accommodation as you are unlikely to get a good...
