This hotel has only just re-opened after Covid lockdown, and staff appear to be working on improvements. The review here is based on our current experience but we understand that feedback will be addressed.
The hotel is in a good location in the centre and away from the main road so quiet from traffic. The staff were also amazing - exceptionally helpful and kind and knowledgable.
However, the conditions of the hotel were disappointing for the money we paid. Overall it was very clean, but the shower heads were clogged and so without running water. We also had to catch and kill a couple of cockroaches in our room. Internal soundproofing was also needed, as noise levels within the building kept us awake every night and early hours of the morning (e.g., banging, loud voices, elevator). The laundry service was also ineffective. The clothes were roughly clean of smells but not basic marks or stains, so we had to re-wash some of them in the sink.

Read moreMy recent stay at the Win Hotel in Hanoi left me absolutely impressed thanks to the impeccable service provided by the staff. ||When a scheduled taxi, booked through a tour agency, failed to arrive at 4 am to take us to the airport for an international flight, the hotel staff were ready to help. Within minutes, they arranged an alternative taxi, ensuring we didn't miss our flight. What's more, they went the extra mile by helping us with a refund from the tour agency for the missed taxi. Their dedication to ensuring a stress-free experience was truly remarkable. Throughout our stay, the staff's friendly and attentive service was consistently outstanding. ||The hotel itself offers cozy accommodations in the heart of Hanoi, making it an ideal choice for travellers. The rooms are a good size and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone...
Read moreMy family (wife, child, niece and nephew) had rudely had our booking at a nearby hotel suddenly cancelled on our arrival. My wife walked about 50 metres down the same street and found that we could get a "family room" (two double beds and a balcony) at Win Hotel at about 25% cheaper than the one we originally booked. The room was on the fourth floor. The room was clean. The large screen tv had the local free channels: with a few Western channels. The air-con was efficient. The balcony had two chairs and a small table. The street was fairly quiet. The bathroom facilities were fine. The front staff (owners?) Dan and Flora, spoke excellent English and were very informative. We stayed three nights and had an excellent time. The hotel is within about ten minutes walking to the "Must-see" Water Puppet Theatre show (and the "Turtle Lake" temple.) Highly...
