I came to Urban Oasis Spa after a tiring day at work. The first impression when coming was quiet and comfortable. The spa is decorated in the oriental style. The receptionist greeted me with warmth and smile. This made me feel excited. After having the menu, I decided to choose foot massage with hot stones for 90 minutes. The receptionist gave me some advices on pedicure. I got information about that with good price. So I decided to have foot massage and pedicure in around 2 hours. Making pedicure first, I chose a color from the palette. the staff cut and cleaned my nails carefully and professionally. I feel satisfied with the service and the nail's color which I chose. Then I went to upstairs to make foot massage. It's a private room with soothing music and soft scents. I really loved the way therapist massaged my legs with warm stones. I also had extra services for hands, head, back, shoulders included in this massage. Perfect and wonderful service. When it finished, the staff asked me how I felt about massage and feedback. I decided to give to the spa 5 stars. It was worth. One more thing, you can pay in other ways like cash, credit cards or USD. It's so useful. I will come back here in the near future. Honestly a little bit overrated in my opinion. We got a thai massage, I asked for pillow to put underneath my chest, they gave me a towel folded up, it was a very painful experience because there was no pillow. Then she me to turn around and gave me a pillow for under my head!!!! I was pissed that she didn't give it to me initially when I asked. I found the massage therapists just lacked professionalism in the small details like placing a towel or pillow to even support your lower body, turning off the fan or turning the airflow away, change the towel to a dry one. Small things that other, cheaper places pay so much attention to. I got a facial as well and for the first 15 mins they were blowing the steam right into my nose. I asked for it to be moved a few times and then I just gave up. Wasn't a very enjoyable experience at all. The spa seems to have the aesthetics of a high end spa but not in the actual services. I was really looking forward to getting pampered here but at one point I was just upset that I spend 2 hours of my vacation time and good money being...

I walked in to the spa about 9 PM needing a great massage to help rejuvenate me from travel. I asked for a 2 hour thai oil massage and off we went to the 6th floor to a beautiful treatment room.

My therapist was outstanding. Within 5 minutes I knew I had a great therapist and would walk out feeling much better. I do a lot of massages when traveling and at home and i can usually tell if I have a great therapist very quickly. They have a special touch and seem to read your body condition with their touch.

My therapist did mostly traditional thai massage - stretching, flexing the body into a pretzel and helping the old joints loosen up. There has never been so much cracking and popping of joints. By the time the massage was done my body was totally relaxed. I swear I could feel the blood circulating through my veins. Outstanding.

So good I will return to enjoy the same therapist everyday of my remaining 7 nights in Hanoi.
