We ( family of four ) had booked 2 rooms ( for one night only ) and reached early ( we had a early flight to Ha Noi ). We requested for 1 room to freshen up but were not given any room ( even 1 room ) till 1.30 pm. The sweet talking Manager asked us to wait till 12 noon and did not face us till 1 pm. The person at the counter did not even bother to check if anyone has vacated their room, even after us approaching him several times. He kept telling his staff that these Indians are pushing him ( in Vietnamese which I recorded on my phone ).
Never expected Discrimination in this Beautiful Country ( who have themselves gone through so much ), as one other National couple were accomodated right in front of me.
We checked out early morning next day at 7.30 am and I am sure like us, there would have been other people like us who would have checked out early ( when we arrived ).
We were given both rooms which were road facing on the 2nd level ( 1st floor in the hotel ). There was traffic noise all throughout the night with honking noises.
The hotel is located at a junction where u can't park for more than 1 minute ( as it disrupts traffic ). So u have to get into the bylanes to board the tour Bus ( imagine having elderly people with u who can't walk ).
Overall would not recommend anyone here as they do not treat Indians respectfully.

Read moreI had a good stayed at la passion classic, located perfectly within walking distance of Train Street, the weekend night market, Hòan Kiếm Lake, and other Old Quarter attractions.
Rooms :-
The property feels quite old, and the rooms are very basic with an unimpressive view. One major downside is the noise—there’s a club nearby that plays loud music until around 2 AM, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the park in front of the hotel often has music playing in the mornings as well, which can be disturbing. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this property for new couples looking for a quiet or relaxing stay.
🗺️ Location The hotel’s setting is ideal — just steps away from the Train Street viewing alley, the bustling weekend night market, and serene lakefront areas. Everything is in easy walking distance .

Henry and the rest of the staff/crew were always offering assistance of every kind. Super patient and really full of hospitality. The breakfast had variety and was fresh each morning.
We reserved a family room and a superior double which was gigantic and very comfortable. Strong air conditioning and beds were soft and clean. The bathrooms were also nice with a tub and shower.
The superior double had a balcony overlooking a busy intersection which would get a bit noisy but was great to watch the city pass by each morning.
There were some great cafes nearby including Phé next door and my favorite, Myman located under the train tracks that played music and served great coffee.
Great location, great service and very comfortable rooms for a great price. We felt this hotel had the best value of the two places we...
