Went there when my favorite bit tet place was closed, and honestly, I was very disappointed. The staff were nice for sure very professional for a fast food-style place. The location is great too, right in the center of the city with train tracks nearby. It’s definitely pleasant to sit on the first floor and watch the busy Hanoi life go by.
However, the food was a big letdown. The meat, which is the most important part, was super chewy and almost impossible to eat I left most of it because it was just too tough. There definitely wasn’t enough sauce, and the flavor lacked depth and that umami richness that bit tet is famous for.
For the price they’re asking, it’s absolutely not worth it. There are many other places with better meat at a lower price. I’d happily pay that much if the food was worth it, but unfortunately, it wasn’t.
I guess it might be a safe choice for foreigners who are hesitant to try local Vietnamese food or want a more “sanitized” experience but it’s not...

Most famous for Hue-style beef noodle and of course my go-to dish: bít tết (beefsteak on a hot plate). One full original plate includes french fries, beef, pork meatball (xíu mại), green onion, tomato, eggs (sunny side - if you want well-done open the lid and flip it while its hot), bread, and cucumbers on the side. Getting hungry thinking about it …
In recent years, they developed new dishes also on a hot plate, including spaghetti. I only tried it once, it was aight’. Nothing tops their number 1 (mentioned above) though.
They have a friendly bulldog roaming around the restaurant, mostly on the first floor. He/she doesn’t look that clean though 😅
Note that this is the only restaurant in the chain that accept...
Read moreBeen here 4 times. This visit was a disaster. I asked for a Saigon Beer, they brought me Hanoi Beer. I ordered bò bít tết đặc biệt and bò bít tết with cơm, but they only served me the one with cơm. When I asked about the đặc biệt, they said “in 5 minutes.” After waiting 15 minutes, I asked again, and they said it was still coming. Only after I confronted them did they finally check—and admitted they had forgotten to punch in the order.
At that time there were only 4 guests in the whole restaurant, yet more than 6 young boys standing around staring into the air. What are they even thinking about? Please focus on your work. Why does this place only hire kids who clearly don’t care about serving customers?
Totally...
