Can you keep a Secret? Homebar — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

so far this is one of the two bars in Saigon i would come back for the third time. my cousin particularly liked the milky foam of their sâm dứa cocktail. i tried 5 of their cocktails, the seasonal Trăng rằm was interesting. (but they don’t have umeshu here)

the vibe was pretty nice. i went alone the second time and had fun talking w Nolan (i hope i write his name correctly, i like his viet name more though). Hiển and Vũ was also really nice to me the first time i came here. i came here a bit early and left around 12ish-1am because i enjoyed the space but not the huge cloud of smoke at the bar. but that’s just me. for three drinks it’s about 700-800k vnd, not too...

I accidentally went into this bar 45 minutes before they opened because it was raining really heavily. What a happy accident. They gave me a complimentary soft drink and some moon cake whilst I stroked their cat and waited for them to open for service. The interior is tasteful, dark, and moody. The owner Jack is very cool and friendly, we chatted a lot and he gave me a free drink because it was my birthday. I played their guitar (they have a bunch on the wall). It's a vibe. I can’t recommend Can You Keep A Secret enough. The drinks, vibes, and music were all incredible. The bartenders were true artists — instead of ordering from a set menu, we told them the flavors we liked, and they crafted the perfect cocktails for each of us. Every drink was unique and delicious.

The atmosphere was chill but full of character, with fantastic music that added to the experience. It’s one of those places that feels special from the moment you walk in — creative, cozy, and effortlessly cool.
