We came here in August-September 2025 with 12 people, so we practically occupied the entire building.
I lived in a 'balcony room' (5 nights) and a 'standard room' (extended 2 nights).
The hotel is in the city centre, but it is hidden 50 meters from the big central square, so we didn't hear city noise.
It is just a short walk from Central Market and many local food places. Everything you may need to see in the city is within walking distance. On the other side of the big square is a 24-hour McD, grocery shops, and dozens of local travel agents who can handle any tour 'for tomorrow morning'.
Our rooms were clean and quiet. We had drinking water, big beds, and many electric sockets. There was shampoo, shower gel, towels, hand soap, toilet paper, and toothbrushes.
Downstairs, a paid laundry service (30.000 VND/kg) is handled within one day. A small cafe with excellent coffee was also open downstairs in the house gate when we stayed there.
During our stay, the hostess offered to clean the room. We used a shelf in the big fridge downstairs. We could also grab a beer or a soft drink from the fridge and drop the relevant payment in a box anytime.
The hosts aren't always there, but they are very responsive, easy-going, and kind. They also found some information about the National Day celebration, so we knew where to go and what would happen in the city centre.
Having 8-10 different previous hotel experiences in HCMC, I wouldn't hesitate to return to F F House Homestay! Good, easy, close, clean, quiet place in the...
Read moreGreat 4 nights stay at this homestay! Everything went right starting from the booking until we checked out. All our requests were granted. The owner, Layla, who manages the property herself was very responsive to all our inquiries. There is no hassle with communication because she speaks English well. Typically, homestays are self-check in but when we arrived, she was at her property waiting for us even if she has already given us the instructions on the check in process. She wanted to make sure that everything was in order. And what a sweet young lady, even went out her way to show her appreciation by giving us a token, a pig-shaped cake with red bean filling which we ate for breakfast paired with black coffee that we bought from the cafe dowstairs, the Nu's Coffee.
Note: The property is a three-story building and has no elevator. (Well, it's a homestay, not a hotel.) It may be a downside to others but for us, it's alright. Though we are already senior citizens, we still have the capability to go up and down the stairs. Our room was on the 3rd flr. because I chose the one with balcony and plants on it–a plant lover and a plant mom here. 😆 But you can choose the rooms on the...
Read moreVery beautiful homestay. I decided to ask for a room after I got of the car as I did not know at first what location to choose in this huge city and I was very impressed by how well decorated and maintained the building is so much that I extended my stay twice.
There are various rooms in size and I got to try two of them and they were very pleasant, especially with the furniture and pillows/bed sheets/towels which are clean and soft, not rough and weathered as you get in other places if you travel a lot.
The manager/owner is also very welcoming and helped me with information when I had to book a bus to travel to another city. You can basically message her whenever you need and you will receive an answer promptly.
The location is also easy to find and it’s right in the center of the city so getting to anywere in town is easy. Internet was also consistent. As for safety it s as good as it gets as there are security measures put in place to prevent random people from wandering in or bothering guests at night or...
