Happy Apartment — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

Ms An, the manager, is like having a second mother or sister looking after you. She is all warm-heart and obliging to help guests. Her genuine goodness is underwritten by several Westerners who live in the apartments permanently, while working in Saigon. I saw two apartments, and they are both hygienically clean and well appointed.

The apartments are in a quiet back alley, off very busy but strategic Pham Ngu Lao road, which is peppered with high end hotels, and central to everything a tourist needs.

Across the road is Saigon Central Park, where every morning hundreds of people exercise, including Ms An and her many friends. If you seek the more intimate and warm atmosphere of a boutique home away from home, then I highly recommend...

Had a great little break here from hostels. Location was great as everything was walkable or a quick grab ride. Can be a bit noisy at nights if you’re coming from remote places but that’s city life and should be expected. The owners are the most lovely couple who were so accommodating and sweet.
