I stayed for four nights and truly appreciated the hotel service for a reasonable price. The location is convenient, close to key tourist spots in Saigon. While both the hotel and deluxe rooms are small, they are relatively clean. The staff is extremely accommodating and polite, available 24/7. The amenities are good; however, be cautious with the snack bar. Only small bottled water and coffee sachets are complimentary, while other items are not free, and their prices are not clearly indicated, although they are still relatively affordable. The TV, refrigerator, hair dryer, and shower all worked well, which is a plus. The area is quiet and far from the noise of the roads, which was a deciding factor for me when booking the hotel. My only concerns were the dirty but short roads leading to the hotel and the thoroughness of the room cleaning.Overall, I would likely book this hotel again. I highly recommend it, especially for solo travelers looking to enjoy the vibrant and beautiful city of Saigon without sacrificing a good...
Read moredon’t recommend coming. beds were tough and we had to suffer with no hot water for 3 days. 1st day: lukewarm water — we endured and thought it was a once off event 2nd day: no hot water at all. contacted staff through agoda but they merely responded that it takes time for the hot water to come but in actuality there was no hot water even after 30 minutes. 3rd day: finally came to check but not only did they not solve the hot water issue, they diverted the problem to find more problem with us. they demanded a compensation of 160k dong upon checkout for using the toilet towels to wipe toilet floor… there were no other floor mats to keep the toilets dry. no terms and conditions stated that we couldnt use the toilet towels to clean wet slipper toilet too.
Sincerely think service recovery could have been 10 times better and we should not be made to compensate for something terms and conditions were did not...
Read moreGood budget hotel in a central location. To find it look for Fat Daddy’s on Pham Ngu Lao and it’s down the alleyway to the left. There’s actually two, the first is where breakfast is served (I didn’t have any) and the second is the hotel. I had the double with balcony and it’s a good size (approx 30 sq m) The a/c worked well and there was plenty of hot water for a shower and amenities include a hairdryer, kettle (but no cups!) and a fridge. A light switch by the bed and not right across at the door was a minor inconvenience while paying extra for a balcony might not be worth it when all you look at is a brick wall across the alleyway! (But it does guarantee a window, some rooms are internal) Hotel is quiet, with only minor noise from the alleyway. Staff friendly and helpful with reasonable English spoken. All in all I would book again if I...
