We had an amazing stay at Kims hostel, this was our first stop for 3 nights in Vietnam and we felt extremely welcome, Kim was a kind, caring lady with great advice and knowledge about Saigon and it was amazing to get to know her like a friend not only a host! The rooms were clean and basic, cozy with aircon and a ensuite, what more could you need. She took us on a food tour with her friend which was delicious where we sampled some amazing local food at great prices! The breakfast was delicious and at a fair price, banh mi and omelette alongside some of the best coffee I have tasted, so good I bought a pouch and a filter from Kim to take home! If you want an amazing host, a clean safe room and amazing hospitality choose to stay here, the price is unbeatable for the warm welcome you receive. Her brothers help her with the running of the hostel and they were lovely people trying their best to talk and learn english! Kims english was great and we enjoyed chatting to her very much. I fell ill on the last day of our stay and she allowed us to keep the room until we had to leave for our flight and brought me lemon tea in bed, she was concerned and continued to message me after we had moved on to make sure I was okay! Such a caring lady who Im so glad we supported by choosing her hostel. The area is great, in backpackers district in a alleyway with lots of helpful locals. We found everything to be within reasonable walking distance or a cheap taxi journey away. Do not choose anywhere else if you want to learn mlre about Saigon with a great host at an affordable price. Thank you Kim!! |||We also organised a tour to the Cu Chi tunnels with Kim which was...
Read moreEverything was perfect! The facilities here were on point with a cozy bed, air conditioner, clean bathroom, considerate laundry service and all-time available wifi connection. Ms Kim offered enough what a backpacker need. One plus for this hostel was the owner. She was super friendly, super frank and super helpful. While she was walking around District 1, she was showing us local street food, cultural features of Vietnam and traditional Vietnamese costume. She and her brother-Thomas also gave us warm welcoming every we back to the hostel. We had breakfast ‘banh mi op la’ with great authentic original coffee and we booked a tour to Mekong Delta outside the city with just a little small sum of money. It was awesome! When you come to this city, try staying in this hostel. I’m sure this is not a luxury place but a worthy one to live in if you...
