Hoa Viên Craft Brewery — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

I was having a great experience. There was about 15 different people in 4 or 5 groups. Not one person smoking, I then smelled smoke and noticed an employee smoking 2 meters away from us. This not only made the food taste bad but it made me want to go. How disrespectful and completely inconsiderate. I found out it was the manager, what a total joke!!! He moved and then we decided to stay for another beer and I noticed when returning from the restroom that he was pouring our beer. Would you trust this guy after complaining about him then all of a sudden he is the one pouring for you? I didn’t want any surprises. We didn’t even touch the beers and paid in FULL and left! Be wary of your surroundings and the lengths some jerks will go to, to enact revenge! Stay clear...

I used to live very near and come there often about 2016-2017. I liked the freshness and taste of the beer and the attitude of the staff was ok.

But things changed. Now they sell rotten beer to their customers. I came there with 2 of my friends, and 2 of them orders black beer. Both mentioned it smelled and tasted weird. I have an experience brewing myself and decided to try it, it was exactly like the batch I spoiled with bacteria infection. This is unacceptable quality. It’s terrible they even assume that they are customers are stupid enough not to notice contaminated smell and taste.

At the end they also decided to put 3 cups of black beer instead of 2...

Loved our experience here, my rating is based on cost and experience vs expectation. Very worth the Grab drive out to get a little bit of Czech style food and cold Pilsner Urquell beer for around AUD$5:00. Also, buy three PU, get the fourth for free. Service is fantastic and so friendly. Seems like very much more locals than tourists enjoying the combination of both Czech and Vietnamese food, local craft beer (which I didn't sample sadly) or PU beer as mentioned. We went for the smažený sýr which was surprisingly good. Served with boiled potato, delicious. I didn't know what to expect when we arrived. When we left I was wanting to come...
