If you want to stay centrally at an affordable rate, by all means come here. Otherwise, there are plenty others to choose from depending on your budget.||Arrival: |There was a power outage when we arrived and they had no backup generator. I don't think it's a good idea to forego that when in a humid, tropical country, especially since power outages are common and mostly scheduled.||Room:|Clean. That's all its got going for it.|The hotel is in between a construction site and a bar, and getting a good night's rest is almost impossible unless you're absolutely smashed. Some form of noise-proofing is needed.|The thermostat indicates 16°C but the room feels no colder than 23°C. ||Breakfast:|Food in chaffing dishes are cold, because they are unplugged. The tables are not cleared for a long period of time, so even though no one was occupying them, you can't really sit and have breakfast. ||Service:|This hotel needs a lot of customer service training. The service is so poor that I would not recommend it. It's one of the worst places I've stayed at, and we've traveled quite a bit.|We complained of the noise and heat in the room, and the male night receptionist gave us a different room but offered no assistance with luggage and room transfer. In fact he was rather rude about it.|And forget about asking for anything from the attendants at breakfast. The whole city was lit up. Nobody has ANY idea what happened, and unless you talk to them, NOBODY will update you. This place is...

So there might be noise but as we were out and about, we did not hear any.||Would be happy to...
