for the price you can get silent rooms just two streets away - which I would highly recommend. here you can choose between a room towards the street or a room towards cooling units..anyway its noisy||the rooms are basically clean. you pay in Dollar as almost everywhere in Vietnam, but the exchange rate to Dong isn't too bad. to get a receipt we had to ask twice.||WARNUNG: don't book any trip or transportation with the travel agency located in the entrance - they sell overpriced tickets, with wrong information regarding travel standard and travel root (we bought a bus ticket to Cambodia, it should include stops and drinking water as well as WiFi on the bus - non of it was true; really annoying was that they didn't tell us the right border where we are crossing (we explicitly ask for it) and our e-visa wasn't valid on the order we were forced to take instead, so we had to apply for a new one which was due to the presence of a man called border assistance - who is mainly unfriendly and not helpful at all, because we had to figure out at our own where we have to apply and do the immigration - more expensive than a regular visa. to sum it up it was a 11 hour bus ride, with no stop except at the border (no possibility to go to a restroom) and no...
Read moreI am honestly not satisfied with this hotel, because I feel like I was SCAMMED. On Thursday very early morning around 3-4am I arrived to Saigon district 1 from Dalat. I did not have any accommodation yet, thus I just walked around to find a hotel. I bumped into this one which offered me a room for a fair price 300.000VND staying until 12pm so I agreed. I slept until 6.00am when the reception staff disturbed me - knoking at my room telling me I have to leave because he will have guests coming. I asked to change the room but he said all are full. I was forced to leave, but I could tell he is not playing a fair play. All other rooms on that floor were EMPTY by that point and if people check-in they check in after 12pm. Since I did not want to deal with this bs, I just decided to leave and by this 300.000VND. Not talking about service, the room is very simple, not bad. Well located.
YET I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOU TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL. I honestly did not like the approach...
Read moreStayed 2 years ago and it was alright. This time however, we were disappointed. The reception area is nearly bare of decor and the carpet badly stained, which looks like the hotel is perhaps planning a refurbishment.||The staff was not as friendly as we remembered and communication was sometimes difficult. Sending emails to the hotel results in "delivery status notification", which I explained on check-in but it was not acknowledged. The wifi is terrible to say the least. For 2 nights we had no hot water. The A/C worked sometimes and others did not, because from reception the staff would turn it off, like that. We were three and I had to request twice to have 3 towels, cleaning was poor. The furniture could be freshened up. The elevator is a...
