A25 Hotel De Tham — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

I stayed here on 2Nov. When I checked out on 3Nov at the same time a group of men check out, by accident they took my hat. The hat is nothing special and not expensive but it is important to me since it is the souvenir. I asked the receptionist (ms. Anh) to contact the group so I could take back my hat. She said "it was Sunday while the group booked via a company, and the company does not work at weekend. I can not connect with them. I will check with them on Monday". OK, I left and tried to contact them several times afterwards.|2nd time: Anh said the company dont know phone number, contacts of their customers|3nd time: when I went directly to A25 Hotel receptionist, another staff of the hotel call to the driver of group, he said that he found my hat and will call back.|4th time: when I remind them they said the driver did not call back. They are waiting. I asked why you dont call him and it's just that simple? then they just promise to call him and call me back|Until now after nearly 10 times I contacted the hotels they seem still finding the way to tell lie to me. |Very disappointed, it's not because I could not take back my hat but the way the receptionist acted. They showed they was trying to support me but they just did nothing to support me. Will never...

The only good thing i can say is the shower/bathroom is clean and there is hot water. I stayed here for 2 nights, our room was dark, musty smelling and cramped.We had no windows, could not tell if it was day or night. they have squashed everything in a small room from snacks to a computer/webcam, cups, kettles and the like. the furniture is not like how its portrayed in photos, they are dirty, have marks/stains, missing buttons and what not. the bed is not comfortable, ended up with a sore back. noone came to clean/tidy the room. i was unwell for those 2 days, i went to reception to ask for a couple of rolls of loo paper, the receptionist couldnt understand what i was asking for.||||||With all this in mind, the airconditioner works. It is really noisy at night, many doors slamming, people having really loud conversations, screaming matches. beds/chairs being dragged around. hearing people go to the bathroom all the time. it was a nightmare.||||i would not be staying here again. There were cockroaches in the bathroom on a couple of occasions. The doors have 3 locks too. i saw signs that said no smoking but there was a man who lit up a smoke wherever he wanted, just didnt care. did the same in the lobby, noone told him off.||||honestly i just...

4.5-Star: Amenities: This plc provides one of the most complete amenities, towels, shavers, toothbrush, shampoo, facial and body wash, bath robes and more

4-Star: Service: Staffs were hard working, courteous and helpful but speak min to zero English, making communications very hard. Ask for someone who speaks English but no one came...!?

2.5-Star: Breakfast: Food is good but each pax is entitle to order only 1 set of ala carte breakfast and drink. If the staff dun understand, may create a lot of problems

(-5)-Star: Hygiene: This is the worst hotel that I have stayed, I kill/ drown at least a dozen cockroaches & other insects in the bathroom while my bedroom is filled with many that run too fast for me to catch... I dun knw if its just this room (709) or if other rooms are so as well as I notice 3 staffs diligently cleaning another room when I chk out
