Prague Hotel Vietnam — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

Location is a bit difficult to find, if using google will direct you only on the main road whereas it is located in an alley with a lots if food stall tables and chairs which quite bit difficult for taxi to come inside specially in the late afternoon to evening. Althougj if you like party and night activity, close to walking district as they call it.

When I check in, they ask immediately for payment for my 2 nights stay. I ask the guy, just verify and make offline check on my credit card. He said yes. After which, he swipe the card and ask me to sign already the receipt? What?! I ask him why he charge already, he just say sorry. I cannot do anything. Then he already open the door elevator and pointed it to me. I ask him do you have the room key card? He said no, i reply back, I dont have also. Hahaha. Then he goes back to their computer, type in something. Then handover the key to me. He open again the elevator, standing beside, I was hoping he would pull my luggage but did not so I go inside, i do it by myself.

The room is really new modern design with big smart tv and nice bathroom design.

The hotel information book, doesnt provide much information. They have TV guide list but does not match with the actual channel on tv. So, you have to explore all the channel.

In the morning, at 630H I went to 9th floor for breakfast only to be informed that it is open only at 7. Which also, no information from reception when I check in. Not good if you have to leave hotel early for work or touring.

The laundry list also is only printed in A4 bond paper with no condition like time of pick up, rush or not, customer copy or hotel copy. No options to choose if it should be return on hanger or folded. My laundry returned, folded in a very small plastic bag, and it is...

The hotel is nice and comfortable (extended double room with windows - first floor - number 102). The breakfast is very good - each day is something different (mainly Vietnamesse food (delicous) + fried eggs, coffee and tea). Room is big (25m2) and very comfort. Is equipped with TV (big and smart), mini bar (as fridge - mini bar is additional pay), air condition, wardrobe and cosmetics in bathroom (clean with warm/hot water in shower). Swimming pool at the roof is nice addition (opened between 10am to 10pm with bar inside). Service team are very kind and speaking in English. Elevator available and moving fast. WiFi available in all hotel (apart swimming pool (poor range) and enough for Netflix. Location is very good - close to most historical places (Independent Palace, Saigon Notre Dame (now in sevice) and main party street. In this price (big room for 3 nights cost 30 USD/night) perfect place to stay!

Noissy in the afternoon/night - somebody scream (I should said singing but for me this is not a singing) between 7-9pm. and "disco" below hotel generate noise (windows are good but not enough). You can sleep at night without big problem but I want to inform...

Perfect location for convenience. Great hotel location and staff are extremely helpful. Right by all the action but not too close. Restaurants line the street, plenty to eat and buy. Rooms were tidy although they dont clean under the beds. Not a big issue unless your child likes to roll things under the beds. Shower heads are falling apart but has great pressure so not too big of an issue. Rooms do have a 'damp' smell when the air con machines turn off, just like how you would find in a car after using the aircon. Not a huge issue as their windows open (if you get a room with a window). Breakfast is available but isnt the greatest. Perfect if you need to grab something quick and easy. Or you can head on out and pick up a coffee and a banh mi at the end of the street. Swimming pool is tiny but my kids loved it so thats all that really matters to me. Perfect to cool off during the day as the temp is way too hot to be walking around (37°C) Taxis sometimes make it to the front of the hotel, sometimes they can't as another vehicles could be blocking the path.
