Honest review here. We stayed here for 7 nights mid August 2025. We are not sure if this applies to the whole of Vietnam but most people we met either tried to scam us or are extremely money-minded. (e.g We went to a flower store twice, a guy told us a bouquet cost 200,000 dong, the next day we asked a different lady and she said 300,000dong for the same bouquet, the exact same one) We booked this hotel on the night we stayed at around 9pm, when we asked the receptionist for a room, they told us the whole week would cost >$600. So we used Agoda to booked the same room (we saw that room before booking) for >$300. One night, I had to take a very important work call and asked if I can borrow a room for just 1/2hr. They told me to pay $15 for that, meant they clearly had a spare room. The price is ridiculous and I am sure it will be very different if a Vietnamese asked for it. So I decided to go to the lounge to take the call but one of the staff was playing a loud music video throughout which was disruptive. When we checked out and decided to eat our lunch at the ground floor where the reception is, we asked the the receptionist for water, but they told us we have to pay for it as they only put them in the room. HUH?? I mean, it is extremely ridiculous right? this isn't how you should treat your guests whether they stayed for 7 or even 1 night. We could have just asked for a carton of bottled water to our room but we asked for the water sparingly, only when we did not have enough. Other than that, the room was just alright, definitely not very worth the price for the service. Location was ok, to be honest, any hotel in district 1 would be a good location. The nicer staff were the male servers who helped us with food deliveries and our luggages. Wouldn't recommend for the service, location is alright since it really depends where you gonna go to most during your trips. Room is alright.

We stayed in over 100 hotels in Asia, and Liberty Saigon Greenview Hotel is definitely THE WORST hotel we have ever been to. 1. Rooms are small and noisy, not even one cabinet or drawer to unpack luggage. 2. Breakfast was acceptable until I saw a HUGE rat running next to my feet in the dining room. 3. Staff insisted on charging 1.2 million Dong for visitor after 8 pm. Which is more than the price of the room!!! 4. Even though we requested a quiet room while booking, they literally assigned us the worst toom in the hotel with windows to a busy street at front of a bus stop were buses were making loud beeping noise every few minutes from morning till night. 5. The hotel manager, Joe Le Minh Bao Chau, should be fired!!! He doesn't understand the meaning of customer service. When I met him to raise my concerns, instead of apologizing and offering solutions, he was disrespectful, angry, and blaming us. 6. This was THE WORST HOTEL in Asia for us.

Close to bui vien walking street. I booked a deluxe room but it was their standard room which is good for solo traveller. Anyway, I upgraded to the VIP room, which was great, though some imperfections were there. There was a weird smell when you entered the room, but it went away after you turned on the aircon. You need to manually turn on the aircon after entering the room. Hot water was not enough to fill the bath tub and halfway ran out of hot water. The lock to balcony door was also not working. Breakfast was great compared to other hotels I stayed in. Rooms were clean, and two lifts made it easier for hotel guests not to wait too long. Overall, my experience was great, and I definitely recommend this hotel and will return to the near future to review again.

Location is good with easy access to all places in the city.

But Genuinely I have not experienced such unprofessional hospitality

Air Conditioner in one of the 2 rooms I had booked was not working.

I informed the receptionist, he sent a person to repair but even then it was not working good. When I asked the receptionist again he offered a fan. I denied because I was paying for air conditioned room and he very rudely said no other room can be offered. Then I found out that this receptionist was DRUNK!!! Has anyone ever seen a RECEPTIONIST OF A GOOD/REPUTED HOTEL DRUNK and behaving RUDELY WITH THE GUEST. If anyone wants u can try this place.

Then after I spoke a little rude with him, he offered me a room 3 stories below my existing so Literally one room in the 7th floor and another in the 4th. I requested him for two rooms in the same floor, but he rudely said only that was available.

One Light in the room was not working and I had to inform them to repair it for me. I thought all these works should be done by the hotel and not by me!!!

They have a safe locker in the room. Certain buttons on it do not work. SUCH CHEAP QUALITY product.

The toilets have no locks, and also the toilet is see through from the room. I hope a toilet is supposed to have some privacy and be closed, because not only is this hotel meant for couples but for friends and family as well!!!!!

No swimming pool

I DON'T THINK ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO BRING THEIR LOVED ONES TO A PLACE WITH DRUNKARDS MANAGING THE PLACE. MOREOVER I FEEL IT IS A VERY UNSAFE PLACE FOR A FAMILY AND...

Reception:|Pleasant and assisted us with information regarding our Vietnam Airlines Transit layover details.||Room / facilities:|Room number 307 is on the 3 floor, just off the elevator. |Despite this, there was no noise from the elevator or any guests going to, or from the elevator. |The room is less than clean, as behind the toilet lid had not been cleaned thoroughly, there were ladies hairs throughout the bathroom floor and on the room floor, the bed doona was marked, bed sheets were marked, dust on the bench tops, shower recess appeared dirty, bathroom vanity not cleaned properly, curtains smell of dust.||The room has a self control split system air conditioning and a window that opens. As the outside humidity and room temp were high, the air con set at 19 Degrees C, did little to cool the room sufficiently.||The room has 2 x single beds, fridge, air con, bench, hanging area, glassed wall on the shower and hairdryer.||Wifi:|Complementary and good speed. Password required.||Food:|There is a restaurant in the lobby but we opted for room service. The food quality was very good, but depending on your order, the meal size is quite small when comparing to the plate size used.||Letdowns:|Cleanliness of the room|Distance from airport for use by Vietnam Transit Tour layover scheme. It took over 30 minutes to drive 7km, which would have used alot of tour time in the City.||Location / Nearby:|Ho Chi Minh city centre and...
