I signed up for a Sapa tour from Hanoi and this was the homebase. I arrived early in the morning at around 6. Had the buffet breakfast. There's a cook for eggs and noodles. Selection is decent but not great, you get the typical bread, sausage, rice, noodles and vegetables.
I decided to take a shower as I took an overnight bus. Reception let me use a room. The cleanliness was okay but not super dirty. I didn't expect that I was able to shower here but that alone was a plus. The staff spoke good English and were very friendly.
On my return from Sapa, I came to this hotel again for lunch. I had a set meal which includes a giant bowl of rice, chicken and vegetables. The chicken and vegetables were both really tough and hard to chew. I also had a bowl of soup which was sour and a bit weird.

Read moreDoesn‘t comply with a 3-Star Hotel in my eyes. The staff was nice of course, like Amosa everyone in Vietnam. But also not outstanding, same service you can get at every non-star hotel. Rooms were not clean - dirty floor, especially in the bathroom. No care for the tiles, Windows, mirrors. Some Windows didn’t fully close due to malfunction. Very noisy hotel - you can even hear the people in the lobby when you are on 3rd floor. There was a big group during the night making too much noise in the lobby and on the floors, but the personnel didn’t do anything about it. Worst experience was the breakfast; we came down by 8 a.m. in the morning - almost everything was gone and the staff didn’t make new dishes. Any small leftovers have been cold and therefore not tasty at all. I don’t recommend this hotel. There are better...
Read moreExcellent base for any stay in Sapa. I stayed one night but also arranged two nights hiking and a home stay through the hotel.
Their hiking guides were all fantastic. I believe they use female only guides and all of the guides I interacted with were knowledgeable, personable and incredibly funny. They really were the highlight of my trip to Sapa.
The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. The owner was fantastic and seemed to take a genuine interest in making sure I enjoyed my stay. He was very organised arranging my transfers to the train station and gave me some excellent restaurant recommendations.
I’d recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a hotel stay in Sapa. Large, spacious, clean...
