Kebab Corner — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Looked like they knew how to make a kebab. Sorry you failed miserably, I eat kebabs and make them at home, but a good beginning is to have hot meat, it was barely warm. And a cheap tasting beef and chicken. I got a mixed kebab at $18, not exactly well, but happy to pay that even for an average kebab. This was well below average. Bread was far from fresh and broke up on rolling, the lady had no idea how to put it together. Meat one way salad the opposite way. No idea. Then to top it off as a I ate in the eating area on a stool facing the road, the owner decides to walk out and light up a cigarette literally 2 metres from me and his disgusting smoke towards me. Service was friendly and exactly what you’d expect. Alas, that’s where my optimism must end. I ordered a HSP, it was ready in less than 60 seconds. That was the first red flag. Anyone knows you can’t deep fry chips that quickly, not to mention shave fresh, hot meat and assemble the pack in that time. The meat was cold, chewy and simply didn’t warrant the price point. Also, the ring sting I got the day after would have probably killed someone a hundred years ago. I assume they precook the chips, which is incredibly lazy. Absolutely terrible service, ordered been place and after waiting 10 mins I only asked to double check and they said oh sorry we are gonna serve the people I. Line now and we will make their order first before yours so explain to me how that make sense when I ordered first?

What I got in reply was absolute bad attitude and said well you can wait and we will serve others first. I don’t understand the hostility since I never even caused any trouble or ever complained.

I understand only 2 people on shift and understaffed but no need for the shitty attitude and poor mannerism. If can’t handle the stress then get out of the kitchen and not pass...
