They sell damaged goods and staff change their tune and become rude if you ask for a discount for a valid reason.
Everyone knows that vintage items can have some wear. However, it is expected for those items to be in a good yet saleable condtion that they do not need to be repaired by the customer to be worn. I bought a dress recently, and as I was trying it on i noticed some wear in the lace and elastic, thats fine and is to be expected of a 2nd hand/ vintage item. What was NOT okay was that the seam on the waist was coming apart clearly in two sections, and looked like it was going to continue to do so when inspected futher. I asked if there was a possibility of a discount as the dress clearly needed repair as the seams were coming apart. The staff member suddenly changed tune and was annoyed, plus started being a bit rude. When i asked, they had to call someone to check. I was then told the best they could do was $65. SO, the BEST price they could do was take $4 OFF!
I am appalled that a store does this and thinks its okay. I did end up buying the dress as I have an event coming up that I haven't been able to find anything else to fit the theme.
So please anyone who likes vintage, check all items, seam, lace etc. If you are to shop here. But i personally do not...

I always say: the first 3 seconds determine whether you want to buy something somewhere, and in this location, I had that decision within 1 second.
Very friendly and open reception, and I was even offered a cup of coffee. I couldn't resist the friendly smile of the staff, and together with a cup of coffee, they showed me everything that had arrived that day.
With pride in their selection, I left the door with an incredibly unique baseball jacket in my favorite color, green.

Read moreCame in the other day, felt unwelcome and the person working was rude when I asked about and complimented the rental dresses on display. Fell in love with a top, there were 3 identical tops all labelled $10 so one would assume the top is $10, when I went to pay I clarified that the price was the same on all tops and was told that was not the price… fair enough. It ended up being $50 which was quite disappointing considering it was not a unique item or an expensive brand. If I had been treated nicer I honestly would have bought it still, I noticed other customers being treated similarly too which is a bummer. What a shame for such...
