Unfortunately my partner and I had the very unpleasant experience of being served by Kiara D on Nov 20, 2021. From the moment we walked in we had to deal with her unpleasant attitude which ultimately ruined our meal. We arrived around 11am, and I noticed the burger deal being advertised on the wall which I wanted to ask some questions about. She firmly stated that I had to wait another 30 minutes to order it (which was fine by us). After ordering some drinks and waiting for the burger deal, she walked over to the lounge and kicked us out from our table because we had our dog with us (even though other staff members brought us a bowl of water for our dog on that same day. We have also dined at the venue previously and there was no issue with the dog being inside). After moving tables, I wanted to change my order to upgrade an item. I went to the bar to ask another staff member if this was possible, and Kiara, while serving another patron at the time, jumped into our conversation rudely and stated that it could not be accommodated, even before the staff member that I asked had a chance to answer my question. She was clearly on a mission to unleash her power on all patrons in the restaurant and I hope ownership reviews her role with the company. My partner and I have both worked in hospitality before and found her attitude unnecessary. If I walked back into the venue and saw her behind the bar, I would leave...

Love 4 Pines brewing - brewery's a let down. If you want to be served by sassy, hipster bartenders who grunt at you rather than use words you're in the right place. The bartender this afternoon, didn't get his name but had double nose ring peircing was unpleasant to say the least. Surprised to see the waitress was serving people food with extra long hair not tied up. She delivered food without cutlery and when we asked for it she seemed puzzled by it. Fish tacos were dissappionting, it's 50% batter and 50% flathead, no flavour present except for the subtle chili here and there. Also found it strange that we sat with accumulated empty glasses and food dishes we have finished with for over 2 hours. Positives was the Watermelon and Pomegranite sour and the pale ale, actually all the drinks on tap as well...

Wow. Hard to feel sorry for SOME businesses at Cooly. Not many customers for breaky, should have been a sign. Searched for menus, not a big menu and no water around. My wife doesn't like runny eggs so i had the ordasity to ask for scrambled eggs then the attitude began... "we don't do scrambled eggs". So I asked for a fried egg well done and got a look like I asked for shaved truffles flown in from Italy?? Then the food arrived and of course the fried egg was sunny side up (runny yolk). I said sorry, I asked for the egg well done, got a big huff from the girl who also was the one who took the order. I was treated like I had Covid!! She should work for the taxation department not a cafe. Came all the way down to help out the locals and get that poor attitude. Wow. Stick to the beers, breakfast is...

4 Pines Brewery in Coolangatta is an absolute gem! The location is unbeatable—right across from the beach, with relaxed coastal vibes and plenty of sunshine streaming through the open, airy space. The atmosphere is laid-back but buzzing, perfect for a casual catch-up or weekend session. The beer? Exceptional. They have a great mix of crowd favourites and unique small-batch brews, all fresh and full of flavour. The Pale Ale and the local Keller Door series were standouts for me. The food menu is great. I had the Poke bowl and hubby had the cheeseburger. Both fantastic!!. There’s something for everyone!. Service was friendly and fast, and the staff really knew their beer. Overall, a must-visit if you’re in Coolangatta. Great beer, great food, great vibes—what more could you want?

I ordered the Mexican bowl minus avocado about 20 minutes ago. Im sitting at the restaurant as I type thus. It was so bland I took it back after 2 bites. Team refused to rectify, make the food actually taste like anything or switch for something else. When I said this was not worth $18 and I could go to guzman or zambreros for better and cheaper Mexican the wait staff literallt gave me directions to leave. My partner didn't mind his cheese burger. He finished his beer. My tap water tasted good I guess. I don't eat out to have something I could throw together at home in 10 minutes. I'll take the staffs advice and eat elsewhere.
