Margaret River Wine Tours — Local services in Margaret River

We booked a tour with Darren a couple of weeks ago and attempted to contact via multiple avenues for more information but received no reply. The day prior we received a confirmation message but no follow up to our questions. We were picked up by Darren 15 minutes late from our booking time who arrived and didn’t apologise or even introduce himself. When we suggested places to go and were talked out of it as “it added time on”. Not much guidance given in terms of places to go. When it came to home time we received a message “ready yet?” We said we would be 10 minutes just finishing up with a reply “Ok but in a rush got to go now”. Upon entering the car we were greeted with “can you guys all individually write me a review now” when advised we had no reception Darren pulled over halfway home stating it was a place with reception and to complete a review for him. Strange behaviour for someone in a rush. A little etiquette goes a long way. The service provided was an average arrangement if you want to choose your own adventure and have someone drive you around the region. Cleanliness of the car wasn’t up to a professional standard where there were food scraps...

Whilst doing extensive research on Margaret River wine tours it seemed most wine tours went to the same main stream places and were charging $150+ individually for these tours. I came across Margaret River Wine Tour which gave you a personal driver at $299 for up to 4 people and allowed you to choose which wineries you went to. This was a major selling point as we made it to 4 wineries and a brewery in the day and our driver even suggested an off the beaten path winery which was great. Margaret River Wine Tours service is AAA+++ The tour was designed to where we wanted to go and they recommended some great places we hadn't heard of. The vehicle is clean, spacious and comfortable ( 6 people and still comfortable) and they were more than happy for us to play our own music. Great friendly service, great price and willing to go that extra mile to make the day enjoyable for all. Highly recommend Margaret River...
