Not the first, or the second, but this is the THIRD time in the past six weeks that a parcel of mine has gone missing. A small parcel of mine has been sitting somewhere in your “Dandenong Warehouse” for a week (according to your app), given Dandenong is barely 15 minutes away from my suburb of residence. $7.00 just for a small package and you can’t deliver one small item a few km’s away in over a week. Absolutely pathetic effort Australia Post!! I am so so so so sick of having to find numbers and call up and trace my package I’ve PAID postage for! Last time, I paid $13 postage for a package that was not even half an hour away from me, took a week and a half, and had to wait lengthy times on the phone to sort out what was the problem and get a rocket under someone - and what a coincidence, the next day, it turned up!! But it shouldn’t take me having to constantly lodge a form/complaint to receive my item. As I always say, I totally understand and respect your delays during this Covid-19, but this is just a joke. Can’t wait for the ban to be lifted as it would be much quicker to drive there and pick up the item rather than pay for and rely on your service, which I would NEVER do again if I had the choice (obviously I don’t with most things bought - it’s a “standard”). Not good enough!! Seeing the “online forms” are practically useless as I’ve done a few before and gotten no response, looks like I’ll be ringing up yet again to track this package. Disgusting service... NOT. HAPPY!! I wish there was a way to give 0 stars - 1 star is too generous. I am in absolute awe and...
Read moreWorst customer service. Today, Monday 6/3/17 at around 12pm, I took a parcel (fragile item), with Fragile Tape on it. I am aware that Australia Post doesn't have a Fragile Service, but it doesn't stop me to use fragile tape anyway. As soon as she seen the parcel, A FAT, SHORT, BLONDE SHORT HAIRED WOMAN, gave me attitude "We don't have fragile service!" she said, very rudely. I was a bit shocked and wasn't sure what she was going on about, and she touched my parcel and said that "Especially this flimsy box!", and what is it inside? "Vintage Tea Set?!". She was giving me bad attitude and shaking her head, like I have done something wrong/bad to her. I have done this many times, I send out many many parcels for the last few years and I'm proud to say, I know how to wrap sufficiently!. I spent over $80 just to get rude attitude from this woman. This woman is a bitter racist person and shouldn't be working behind any counter. The most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with. After this experience, I won't go to that post office ever again. In fact, my husband stopped going there long time ago. Btw, Doveton and Endeavour Hills Post Offices are...
Read moreWent in to get id photos taken for an overseas visa. Visa was rejected as photos did not meet specifications. Understandably this happens and I returned to get my photos retaken, as AusPost has a policy of retaking the photos for free if they are rejected. However, the older lady with short hair denied that the photos did not meet specifications. Her attitude was very aggressive, denying my request for new photos without listening. She could not remain calm and had no empathy. She maintained that they 'were perfect photos' despite never consulting the photo specification list. After I asked to be seen by someone else, she kept muttering that 'they were perfect photos' while my new id photo was being taken. This unfortunately felt racist as the next customer was asking for an Australian passport and she was very kind to them and understanding of their problems. If you are a person of colour I advise you to not use...
