Ease Garden — Restaurant in Melbourne

Second time eating here, first time was fantastic. Second time was pathetic. First of all after ordering, our entrees only half the table was served while the other half had to wait. The first to arrive were vegetarian spring rolls and 2 serves off Satay beef. The wait time for the second round on entrees for the other half of the table was 10 minutes, for steamed dim sims. Before the dim sims were even brought out we requested our mains. When they came out 4 of 7 meals were brought out, 2x honey chicken, 1x sweet and sour pork in batter, 1x sweet and sour prawns. After 5 minutes from the initial mains came out another round came and this time it was only the sweet and sour scallops. Following that it took 15 minutes from initial main course dispatch for the sweet and sour roast pork to arrive. We were at 6 of 7 main meals. After 25 minutes after our first round of main meals came out we actually had to get up and ask where the final meal was which was a mongolian beef. 5 minutes after that we had a beef meal placed infront of the person missing their main. Only for it tp be quickly snatched back out from infront of her as she'd just gone to place her fork into the meal. All she got was sorry that was the wrong meal before they placed it onto another table. Finally 2 minutes after she received her meal. So in total it took 32 minutes from the first group of mains being placed on the table till the final person got her meal. Very poor service. Will not eat...

Arrived on time, sat down and ordered straight away, 7 people at table, ordered 6 entrees and drinks, 25 mins later 1/2 the table got their entrees other half waited additional 15 mins.

At this point they were asked to bring mains out without waiting for the entrees to be finished...

The mains had the same problem as the entrees, 3 of the 7 people received their main course, 10 mins later another plate arrives. Further 10 mins another arrives.

The two that hadn't received their meals were waiting on their food for a further 15 mins, and the last meal was placed on the table and then snatch away after a fork had hit the plate saying " wrong table ".

A further 10-15 min wait for the right meal to be served.

💩💩💩💩💩 Service and substandard food.

Have eaten here in the past and food was perfection on a plate and so was service.

Won't be back after 💩 Service and 💩Food ( undercooked ).

Left restaurant and went to McDonald's to eat at a higher quality...

The food was okay but our experience was very unpleasant. We had to serve our own lobster and crabs, which is very unusual for a Chinese restaurant, 'here, here are the plates, serve it yourself'. There was a fly in one of our drinks and when we told them, they spoke Cantonese to another staff member in a very nasty tone, kicked up a fuss and kept saying she didn't understand English, so then I spoke Cantonese to her and immediately she treated us much better. They heard us speak Mandarin and treated us very poorly but immediately changed when I spoke Cantonese to them. In fact the whole night, their staffs' attitude was much better.
