As a Sydney local I go there at least once a week, the selection and varieties of seafood & quality are unsurpassed. Why would you buy thawed frozen and often farmed seafood from a supermarket ? Have you read the health issues about farmed seafood ??? For those criticising the place you must realise it is a tourist attraction, so go on week days if you don't like a few people, but at least embrace what you have locally. I bet there are people in central Australia & Western New South Wales that would give their eye teeth to have such fresh, quality seafood on their door step . For the rest of reviewers complaining about times getting served if you really don't like waiting for your quality seafood then go to McDonalds for a...

Sydney Rail: A System Built Without Future Vision

A good place for visit and tour around. You can learn a lot about the different types of seafood especially the names, shapes, species etc. Apart from this, nothing impressive.

The market was dirty, wet and crowded with tourists. Do not bother to buy any cooked food items to consume thereat as they were overpriced and overcooked. Seafood was pre-cooked. It had alreasy lost its freshness and tastiness upon customers' purchaes. The half piece of lobster costed $25 was hard and dry. The squid was equally expensive costing $16 tasted like rubber. For the money paid, it's much better to dine in at a proper restaurant where you will be served with tastier and...
